I have took down some notes for my personal reference. Just sharing it out :) 1. APPROACH LIFE IN AN OPEN MIND - even if you already know something, always be humble and listen because there might be something to be learnt (that you have previously missed out) 2. JOURNALING - this helps to get things out of our chests. helps to dig deep within us, for self reflection and finding out more about ourselves on a deeper level. 3. KON-MARI MINIMALIST MINSET - keep the things that makes you happy. whatever that bring you the most joy, so that you won't waste your time and energy on unimportant things 4. DO THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS FIRST - a more productive and effective approach to life 5.PRACTICE GRATITUDE - cultivate gratitude to a consistent daily practice, focus on what you do have, and be thankful for everything you have in your life. rather than focus on the negative. how you feel will shape who you are. happy thoughts will lead to a happier life. how you see things will change how you feel, how you feel will change the reality of your life. Thank Aileen for the wonderful video. Keep doing what you're doing, you're doing great!

Hello, I am a new one on your channel and I can completely identifiate myself with everything you describe for you : eliminate the wrong vibes, do the important things first, organise your home with only joy making furnitures... It makes me happy to watch your video cause this it the very first one I play on KZbin on this theme ! Continue with this goodwill and simplicity, it is great ! And even if I speak English more or less fluently, I really appreciate the French subtitles :)

I'm now journaling for two weeks since I watched your videos, it helped me organize my thoughts after breaking up my very first boyfriend. Now I'm starting to focus in myself after letting my world revolve around him. Journaling really helps. Although it still hurts, I'm still working for the pain but your videos helps a lot to my recovery process. Thank you! Wishing you'll give me a journal on my birthday tho. It's on November 26, queen! Thank you! 😊

There was time when I was so depressed! I was so hurt ! I was broken ! However after suffering from all of my problem, I decided to write things that frequently playing on my mind which made me depressed ! I don’t know how I came to journaling things cause I really didn’t like these thing before ! But after starting writing habits, made me so relief and light ! I kinda helped me to move from those problems ! It’s really helped me ! And lastly what I liked the most about this video is the last point ! I’m definitely gonna try that’s one ! Thank you for your videos, it really helping us ! So inspiring ✨💖

I really wish I’d have heard tip number one about approaching everything with the mindset of “what can I learn from this” when I was in school! Now that I’m out of school, I’m more excited than ever to keep learning! I think that’s one of the main reasons why your videos never get old for me! Even if it’s similar concepts over and over, I believe there’s something new to be learned from each one! 😊🌸

Journaling is something that I started doing more consistently a few years ago and now I can really feel that it changed my life. More recently I started writing the morning pages and it is part of a morning routine. Adopting a routine has such an impact on my mood and productivity! :-) Another habit that has changed my life for the better is learning to focus on one activity at a time. I used to start activities or projects but never finish them because my attention was dragged to something that I thought more interesting until the next "more interesting" thing popped up... In short, my mind was a mess! After I started changing my mindset to go with my projects until the end, I felt more productive, organized, confident and happy.

I have often been amazed at the difference there can be in how people view the world around them....some people really choose to look at everything that could go wrong and always view themselves as the victim, while others are making the choice to consider what could go right and choosing to view and make each choice a step toward a better future. I love your videos and I am always inspired when I watch you! Hope you're having a beautiful day!!🤗💗

Thank you for that video! What you said about how you do one or two important things during your day and then you are satisfied with yourself was really inpring to me. I have trouble getting a lot of things done as well and to see you keep achieving success (that is a happy and balanced life, healthy relationships, impacting other people's lives...) and being grateful to your own self for what you done was very comforting/liberating to me. I can see that most of my creativity stands hostage of what society considers productivity, and I can never forgive myself for not being able to walk that same pace. Thank you for sharing that lesson with me.

Love you tip on seeing the beauty in all! One of the biggest lessons I've learned is "I can smile even if my body needs to heal' I had been in bed for several days due to a bad illness and I was MISERABLE. My body ached, my sinuses were a mess and I had migraines. My husband casually walked into the room and showed me a Calvin & Hobbes comic strip. I read it and burst out laughing, and after laughing I realized my body still felt ill. That was the moment I realized my mind/outlook mattered SO much in the healing process and that I could still find ways to be happy while I was ill :)

One of my favorite and most life-changing habits is definitely morning sun salutations. It is my kind of meditation, when I just forget about everything else, start moving my body and relax all the tension. I started doing that when I felt really lost and confused about who I am and what should I do with my life and it really helped me feel in control again.
@lavendaire6 жыл бұрын
Quick Fix ooh how amazing

Hey Quick Fix, can you explain how you integrate your morning sun salutations in more detail? I'd love to use it as a new way to wake myself up before the day starts!
@rea85856 жыл бұрын
Hey, of course! Well, in the morning before breakfast I first meditate for 5-10 minutes and then do 3-7 sun salutations. I always start slow and spend more time on the first 2-3 and the last ones go faster. Basically, each breath is one movement so it is very fluid and 1 sun salutation takes you approximately 1 minute. So, it is fast, but really relaxing and has great health benefits for your entire body. You can do it anytime anywhere and you really don't need a lot of room or a lot of time plus you feel amazing afterwards. At least I do :) If you have more questions, I am here :)

My favourite from these 5 habits Aileen had shared is number 5, learning to cultivate gratitude as a daily. consistent practice. Although I know that in mind, but I do not practise it as much as I did when I'm schooling. As a working adult, in a 9-5 job makes me forget to be grateful for all the little things I had in life. I became so negative and starting to blame the world for all the things I am and not able to have. These 5 habits do open up my mind to a more light-hearted side of me. Thanks!

I'm early in life right now, and you're helping me shape myself into a better person. I'm younger than you probably think that I'd be, and I'm so grateful to have found you before I've grown up more so that I can start these habits early. I journal, meditate, do yoga and all sorts of other things all because of you. Thank you :)

After watching your videos and learning about minimalism, I think "Letting go" is a mindset change that is really carrying me through. I no longer cry in bed about things I cannot control. Whether it's an object or a situation. I have my bad days, so I journal and process whatever ill feeling is within me.

For some reason the way you explained why gratitude is so important really made it sink in for me. I like #5 a LOT. Summer travels have thrown my sched off--well, the schedule I was creating. And today is the first day of school for my third grade son, so once I get back focused I will hopefully find a time of day that is just right for gratitude. What I tried was thinking of all the things that brought me joy once I awoke, but I feel really distracted that way. I think maybe it's the fact that I don't have paper or maybe that it's like two seconds after I wake up.

Thanks. You really gave me a little hope, in my lowest lows. Everyday I wake up to see political scandals and unfair slandering of innocent men, racism. Makes me see and think about only the negativity in this world, makes me think about how cruel the world is. Well, you are right, I have to try and make a habit to see positivity even in this corrupting ,negative, horrible environment. Little beautiful things, as source of happiness. You stay the same. 💖

My favorite life changing habit is “not allowing negative things somebody else says to get to me”. The goal is not to find a way to deal with those burdens but to shut them down all for good, i do not have to deal with anything. Like i just create this space where those things can not get to me and o can not get to those things,,First I distance myself from people with negative vibe,all for good, physically, on the internet, am keeping very far away from them and If any of people I have allowed to be in my life acts as a passenger I will ask them why do those people feel comfortable to tell you those things. People’s opinions, words can only take so much from our happiness and joy. I have decided am going to live my life very deaf and blind as long as people negative words are concerned

Quite a long time ago I had a course of cognitive behaviour therapy for depression so I was aware of how to change my mindset. However, you helped me a lot. It never crossed my mind that I already knew it all even though I was shown methods to get myself back on track. Even though I'm extroverted I won't talk things out with others until I myself am sure of how I would handle the "problem/whatever is on my mind". Sometimes I just need time for myself and my brain to talk things out so I can plan the strategy of how to solve the problem. If I get the idea of how to solve it, then I would talk to a person whom I know would be able to understand the situation I'm in. But yeah to talk it out really helps to get the burden feeling out of your chest sometimes. - Just discovered your channel and it's super inspiring, calm and nice. It feels like I've finally found someone that understands the joy of always wanting to make a progress with your life. I wish you the best, you're doing amazing sweetie~

Journal + therapy is my way to go hehehe I feel like therapy is like a boost I needed to go on the right way and think more about decisions/consequences without panicking about how things can/sometimes will go wrong

I think we can all learn something amazing from this video! even if the tips are things we are told or some would think mundane you clearly explained everything in detail so we can all learn from it. this was so eye opening and beautiful and cant wait to rewatch this whenever needed :)

Aileen..I am watching this today. And it's like getting my mind sharper and lighter. I am feeling lost and uncourageuo s . I might be 'beating myself up' without even noticing and meditating and seeing this made me aware..and I can reconnect into my inner true self that has the ability to experience joy from simple things..So I know rest will help..eating healthy food..so that I can be stronger and more alive as I try to intentionally create the life of my dreams as you say..Question. . Did you ever feel like moving to a different place change your ability to do better..? I'm in a non English speaking country and feel that something about that hinder me or makes me feel like I'm an outsider..when I really feel it's important for me to feel like I belong. .Thanks Aileen for your inspiring messages and vids. They are truly a light

Aileen, I so so appreciate your mindset and the way you see the world. This year I feel like I've really understood that mindset of being positive even through the problems. I feel like we would really get along if we hung out 😊 lots of love to you!!

Hey Aileen I'm sooo in love with you My mom passed away 10 months ago because of cancer. Ever since that, I lost my spirit. I lost someone who always care the most about me, someone who always told me what I'm supposed to do and what I'm not supposed to do, someone who always gave me those magical words when I'm feeling down. And after seeing your vids, I feel so happy cause I have found my own spirit again, and knew how to be a more gratefull person even if my mom is not here anymore. So I just wanna say thank you so much for those inspirational videos. Keep it up! Love you❤ Xoxo, Salza from Indonesia
