If you have sub conscious trauma which has created toxic habits as a response to to distract avoid pain. There will be no motivation except to distract. There will be no just do it٫ This will continue to find every excuse to come to why u just cant do it.

if i’m being honest, quarantine has been hitting me hard. i miss seeing everyone, and i’m not gonna lie, i didn’t get out of bed mostly today. i didn’t brush my teeth, i didn’t even change my clothes. i want to start turning my life around and start getting into what i love. tomorrow i’m going to clean my room and write in a journal. wish me luck, guys! ❤️ edit: i’m in a much better place thanks to you guys. i read a lot of your replies encouraging me to keep going and stay strong. so thank you all for that. i wish i could tell you the reasons behind my problems but i am not comfortable putting it out here. just know that everyone here has their own struggles and we should never undermine them. you never know what goes on behind closed doors. i’ve changed my habits in many ways and i’ve gained a few new hobbies. thank you all, it really means the world to me. 💞

In regards to #3, I want to add that while having clear skin can indeed foster a strong emotional state, please remember that *all* skin is good skin and with the right mindset, you absolutely can feel good about your skin regardless of what it looks like that day. You do not owe anyone, even yourself a perfect, flawless complexion, and blemishes do not make you any less beautiful/handsome. I'm saying this cause I learned to love my face, not in spite of, but through my acne; mine isn't the most severe, but there are still many people with acne conglobata, boils, etc. so if you have such skin conditions, just know that it's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.

1. 1:01 Write down 3 things you're gratefull for everyday because gratitude makes you more appreciative of the things you already have and therefore happier 2. 1:52 Clean for 10 minutes a day because it's easier to motivate yourself to clean one thing for a short amount of time than cleaning everything at once for a longer amount of time 3. 2:42 Take care of your skin because if you don't and it's dry and/or full of pimples, it can make feel uncomfortable in your own body and therfore less confident 4. 3:28 implement the 80/20 principle, which means to focus only on the important 20% of work that needs to be done and after that at the less important 80% because through that you're being more productive (work smart, not hard) 5. 4:38 implent effective daily routines because it stimulates your mind and body to give you a boost of motivation and inspiration ~ Good luck, you got this! 🤍

I've finally been diagnosed with bi-polar and a lot of what's been suggested is exactly what's been recommended to me as far as managing my illness. There are some other stuff involved, but simple things like creating a daily routine, prioritizing to-do lists, and exercising gratitude have greatly improved a lot of my overall well-being. This video has been validating for me, it letting me know I'm on the right track. Thank you, your channel is doing something awesome.

The writing down 3 things you're grateful for is the easiest one to start with, and it's definitely changed my life in terms of giving me a stronger mental foundation for positive thoughts and positive thinking. The best part about it, you don't even need to believe in it to work, you just have to write 3 sentences every day and just do the work.

Thank you for making this video I got a depression, slowly I get back on track by following not all but some like breaking the task into small by doing the chore in 10 minutes. I do my chores like washing dishes and wiping down the kitchen counter then go back to sofa and be sad again. After 2 hours I forced myself to tidy up my living room and making bed while waiting for my breakfast cook by my husband. After coffee and omelette I try to finish just 1 important task making resume, making doctor's appointment or taking care my financial. Then I lie down again as Zombie in the couch. Thru my small habits doing one thing at a time slowly I get up on my feet. But to be honest somedays I do nothing at all as I'm brain dead. Its hard to do simple task if your depressed you can't even explain why. I'm totally zoned out until I keep watching motivational youtube clip. I'm not alone some people are suffering worst than me. I feel lucky my husband is so supportive. If you have severe depression please seek help immediately until its too late.

don't be insecure about yourself. never :) imagine yourself as a flower, who wants to be a butterfly, dreams about it almost every day. those beautiful wings, fluttering around, wherever they want. but, instead of comparing yourself with that butterfly, look at yourself. look at those beautiful luscious petals, you give life to so many other creatures. Your alluring fragrance. the butterfly's beauty is enhanced, when it sits on you. love the way you are, embrace you beauty and your flaws, and you'll be invincible.

The point about taking care of your skin is 100 true. I have so many acne scars on my face and because of that sometimes I want to disappear. I don't even want my parents or siblings to look at me. if someone looks at me for a while I immediately become nervous. Sometimes I lose all of my confidence, and sometimes I'll like what's the big deal about it. "My face turning like this is not my fault. I don't care what they will think or they will say" saying all of these stuff to myself and then meeting everyone. I like to take selfies. I take some selfies once in a while. but i didn't turn on my camera for a whole year or I didn't even meet someone. i refuse to go anywhere making excuses that I'm busy..................................... But the problem is that I don't know what to do with my skin.

Thank you for this post. I was trying to change my morning and evening routine, but I failed. I plan to start implementing this weekend. I received my bachelor's degree in August 2021 and now I seem to be deflated. I agree that habits have to be developed over time and cannot be rushed. But, I plan to start each tomorrow and do it everyday. For me, I have to get out of my lazy routine and accomplish what I need to get done.

This is so sweet ♥ thank you! I'm already practicing taking care of my skin and cleaning and organizing each day a little. Yes, I had to start each one at once and build it in a routine. Now I will try out writing gratitude. Then I'll try the rest. A good routine is what I seek. But yet it's a challenge. Thank you very much!

Excellent delivery from Amanda Silvera here all around. Perfectly paced, with a soothing and well articulated flow. Fwiw, I used to get paid stupid money to critique radio and tv talent. In Amanda's case, I really have nothing to offer but keep air-checking! (Listening, truly listening to oneself). Great job!

For the 80/20 Pareto principle, it also means that 80% is done in the first 20% of the time, and the remaining 20% of the task is what takes 80% of the time Thus, don't feel bad about leaving something imperfect. It takes 4x more time to go from 80 to 100 than what it took to go from 0 to 80 When talking about tasks that take the same amount of time, it also means that with 100% of your time for one task you can either do it to completion, or complete 5 tasks to 80% For example, if you have an hour, and 5 rooms to clean that each take an hour, you can clean one room to 100% and feel like you're stagnating after 12 minutes, or you can spend 12 minutes in each room and clean them all to 80%, and end up feeling like you've done so much in an hour
