now that I think about it, the spinning skirts kind of says something about their characters. I like to imagine that these are their reactions when they see the protagonist. Sayori's suggests that she was turned away from the camera, probably talking to Natsuki. She turns to kind of smile and say hi, I guess, and it also shows that she's trying to keep up the image of being happy and perky. Natsuki's turning towards you as well, but her stance and expression seem kind of standoffish, giving you insight into the fact that she's tsundere, and was probably saying/doing something sweet/complimentary of the protag before she turned around and put on her tsun face, I guess. Yuri is turned away, and it looks like she used to be facing the protag, which makes sense, since she likes him. She was probably staring at him and watching him, but when he noticed her gaze, she turned away, which makes sense in the second part of the game.

Show plots: DDLC: A show about mental health awareness. Sayori is still depressed, but it's not as bad as it was in the game. Yuri doesn't cut, she just has social problems because of her eccentricity and shyness. Nat isn't abused, but she's bullied really badly because she's small and likes cute things. Monika is the protagonist and she finds out about the problems her friends have and helps them (MC just isn't here because the world can go on without him). Everyone is happy in the end. Yandere Sim: Basic shojo plot, stereotypes and all. Danganronpa: Basically like Among Us is now, but instead of killing they disappear, and they have to find the culprit to bring the victim back. Once the culprit is found, the culprit is locked up.

I think that if Doki Doki was a Western show it would have that typical artstyle from Girls Cartoons (Like Barbie, Monster High, Bratz, etc) with big eyes and lips and cheap animation Because, the game has a generic anime artstyle so the player gets surprised when they realize that is not as cute and typical as it looked, so the western version could make it look like a family friendly girls cartoon just to surprise the viewer later on
