Honestly, I feel like the whole reboot trend, needs to end. Maybe I’m alone in that, but if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. I get we love nostalgia but I’d much rather watch the old show instead of the new ones being capitalized on. I do like how iCarly is tailored more for adults with the reboot but most shows don’t translate well when redone. Again, just my opinion. Ned Declassified wasn’t a major show for me, I watched it and enjoyed it from time to time but it wasn’t a staple for me, same with Unfabulous. Although, I’d watch Unfabulous before Ned. I think Ned was a little bit too quirky for me and I was and still am kinda nerdy lol. Anyway I enjoyed hearing your take. I wasn’t aware how unhinged the cast can be.

A lot of these childhood stars were pretty much hired to play themselves so they’ve never had a real acting challenge. I went through a period of binging Neds Declassified podcast full episodes on youtube- they were going through each episode of Neds Declassified talking about their experiences on set (outside of trauma) but also, they were talking about trauma a lot. It felt like they wanted to be motivational by talking about their experiences, but it may have become tmi many times. Moz and Ned were the main ones talking about trauma Cookie (from what I saw at the time) was private. Even though, Wizards of Waverly Place recently got a continuation I question if networks are throwing reboots around as much. My developing theory (with Icarly being cancelled) is that the reboots are not seen as viable as before even with nostalgia.

Lindsey was in two, COUNT EM’, 1…2 successful shows. She screwed herself because she couldn’t stay sober. She was on a reboot of 10 things i hate about AS THE STAR! Pretty little liars as well. Further adding, I do wish the trio get back on track; and not downplay the other shows and actors/actresses. For the latter, at least the dogs reunited and are making new music. Coconut head was the best. Enjoyed the show when I was younger, and you are exactly right. This podcast was uncomfortable. Lindsey is so desperate for attention, and the whole thing blew up in their faces. No one asked who was B.J.'n behind the scenes. Gross. If anything, they are still acting like kids. Ned’s has basically made themselves unemployable for 3 reasons: 1. When they were rejected for the reboot initially, they went around and basically threw a bunch of temper tantrum online about not getting a reboot. 2. When they got the chance to do a re-watch pod they basically turned it into a very raunchy story time about all the sexually explicit stuff they did on set as MINORS! 3. By doing the things mentioned in parts 1 and 2 they basically killed any interest a potential reboot had. I know that if you asked me in 2020 I would have been all for a Ned’s reboot, but now I’m like, no thank you and I think the majority of people feel this way. If I were in a position of casting people for new projects or thinking of rebooting an old project, I would look at the three points above and it would be an automatic no.

These kids reek of never having had a job in the real world. Like imagine you’re begging your former boss from your job from 20 years ago to just freaking hire you again and going on and on about how much you just deserve it and how they keep hiring some of your other ex coworkers but not you. Also them claiming they have no trauma from the show is extremely rich. How you gonna say Lindsay ended up a straight up drug addict out of nowhere? How you gonna tell me these 13 year olds were passing each other around while drugged up but they have no trauma lmao they don’t even live in the same reality the rest of us do.

It was over the minute they made fun of the quiet on set with people from the Nickelodeon cast talking about unfair treatment and talking about being SA. Then Lindsay started talking about going through the Ned Declassified cast which was definitely a double whammy! I never really liked Mose from Ned Declassified and now I know why. Plus with a show that is mediocre at best it's not even worth rebooting anyway. Don't get me wrong I did like it because of its quirkiness but it's not the best or the worst but more of something you don't mind watching in the meantime until one of your favorite shows comes on. I 100% agree with everything you said in this video nothing about this video that I disagree with! They ruined it and now they have to lie in it! I hope they can get a regular 9 to 5 jobs considering the jokes they made about quiet on set.
