Lavrans Svendsen is a global star now! It doesn’t really matter if he won or didn’t win anymore. He is amazing and I so want to hear more of his voice. I am obsessed with his voice, everything about him, I could listen to him sing 24/7! KZbin isn’t enough, I want an Album/CD from Lavrans! It's a blessing he didn't win because an artist like him has to have freedom to choose a label. He has individuality and is very captivating. You just can't take your eyes off him and his emotion. I hope some good label sign him and let him explore his potential.

Lavrans should have won. He has given us a new show each time and sings different genres. Inger Lise sings one type of song every time and has nothing new to offer even though she is a good singer. I support Lavrans and believe he has a brilliant future ahead of him. He is the born star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lavrans came into it late. - Inger Lise wss the first artist to sing, and everyone in Norway who saw her blind audition followed her and voted for her world voice. Ehitney Huston made no difference, the Norway ppl favored Inger Lise.

The songs he chooses has to mean something to him. She is much more «main stream» and maybe spekulative as well pluss she has 10 years as a professional artist. Living off her career. No. She sang in weddings and funerals in her small region of Norway, she never made her own album, her own tour. Thats why most of us norwegian nevefr heard her before the Voice. - "should have" is quite disrespectful - to the winner ! She had a life before the Voice, too, but the competition is about - the Voice ! Congratulation Winner, wonderful talent snd brilliant use of it !

Adam Lambert did not win the American Idol fifteen years ago.But, when I saw him,I said:"He's a Rock Star, he's mission to be a Superstar!" Two weeks ago, when I saw the first time Lavrans, singing "Stay",I had the same feeling, this guy doesn't need competition, he is a Star! And the same story, Adam did not win, he came the second.And Lavrans came second.So the time will show who is the truly winner! Good luck, Lavrans ❤

Lavrans will be a Super Star, Inger Lise will stay a singer for weddings and furnels.I glad he didn' t , because will have freedom to make great music with the right writers.He have more veiwers , then the winner, so thats means he is already world superstar.

Why should he chose Måneskin? Måneskin isnt that popular in Norway and btw Beggin is actually a song Yosef (one of the mentors) and his duo Madcon released 17 years ago (which is btw better than Måneskin’s version). He allready sang a rock song in the duet with his mentor Jarle, so why should he chose another rock song. He has been just as good if not even better with the slower somgs. Weird to say he shouldnt go personal as he has done that all season and thats one of the reason people loves him. He picks songs that means something to him and it feels like he has written them. He delivers his heart in every performance. He is genuine. One of my favorite performances was «The ballet girl» and I had never heard that before. Sometimes new songs are exciting. «I have nothing» is so outdated in competitions like this. Inger Lise only chose predictable and quite boring songs, big ballads where she could hit those high note . She didnt show how she is as an artist at all (except in the semi). I have a theory that someone helped Lavrans from winning and being stuck with a strict The Voice contract which is often a curse…and voted for Inger Lise (some label or something):…cause Lavrans had a lot more support in social media, polls etc so I was pretty sure he would win. if he would have won, he would have been tied to that poor strict contract for some time. It was a blessing in disguise he didnt win.

In_my_own_mind I'm late to the party, but I totally agree. I absolutely loved his version of the ballet girl which I had never heard before, and was happy to discover it through him. I loved his version of I lost a friend, because I felt every word and it broke my heart in a way that Finneas' version didn't. My favorite of Inger Lisa's performances was the one she sang in Norwegian even though I'd never heard it before and couldn't understand a word. But I felt her. The other songs have been so overdone I stopped listening to most of them halfway, even though she's technically very good.

To me he was the winner. Inger Lise has a fantastic voice, but I feel that she tried too much to show her range, and kind of lost contact with the song. Lavrans sings with much more passion and connection with the song, I feel he gives us the lyrics in the same way Angelina does, not just showing off, but feeling! ✌️

Agree it was the choice of song- when I heard he choose I lost was worried that people will not recognize the song- but regardless he won me, my family and friends! ❤

In Norway we are only 5 mill.ppl. 1/6 of us followed the competition this year, from the beginnong. Inger Lises voice talent and her use of the talent won. Almost every person who saw her blind audition , favoured her all the way. Lavrans is a star. Nola is a star. Many were stars along the way. The best voice won, congraatulations Inger Lise ! ♡

Beggin' would be a strange choice here, especially to attribute it to Måneskin, as Yosef (half of Madcon) is one of the mentors (e.g. for Nola). I know Madcon didn't write the song, but they had a hit with it long before Måneskin recorded their version.

You're so right, he chose the wrong song for the right time, makes me sad, wish he could redo it, but it'll give him a chance to grow. He just mustn't come to America, it'll mess him up. He's still so childlike and innocent, Im obsessed like the rest of the men and women. He's beautiful.

I have listened to the original and its not better than Lavrans. His voice doesnt have the same layers, vibrato and raspiness as Lavrans, so for me its boring compared to this. Lavrans voice was still not 100% from having a throat inflammation.

Gdyby Lavrans mogł nagrać z tą piosenką teledysk, studyjnie nagrać wokal, zaśpiewać ją całą - to jestem pewna że wszystkim kapcie z nóg i szczęki pospadałyby na podłogę z wrażenia. Jego emocjonalne podejście do tematu bije na głowę wszystkich. Ciarki, łzy, ściskanie gardła, empatia natychmiast.

If you are comparing songs in competition to the original, I would also say the winner's rendition of "I Have Nothing" wasn't as good as Whitney Houston's either.
