I followed your channel around 2019 when I decided to prepare for law school. I took the LSAT in 2020. I was accepted to a top 20 school in 2021, and I wound up deferring for a year (school offered stipends for it due to larger than normal class size). I began law school in fall of 2022. There were a lot of major headwinds in my life from summer to winter of 2022 (e.g. emergency surgery to remove appendix right before finals, spouse had a stroke, and two other significant [private] matters). But I'm a really determined and stubborn guy. So, I did what I do: I. Busted. My. Butt. This week, I received and accepted a 1L SA offer from a top 10 biglaw firm. Thanks for all your content, and I just wanted to share this success with you. Cheers!

Thank you for another insightful video. Do you happen to know about transferring schools as a 1L, weighing various factors if transferring is a reasonable choice? I submitted a transfer request from a lower tier HBCU to a T14, and am awaiting a response. I need to consider price, location, job security, relationships, and other factors that may not be salient in my mind?

It really depends on your reasoning for transferring and your ranking/grades as well as whether you have scholarships/full ride at your current law school. I would evaluate it the same way you would when considering law schools as a 0L.

Are law firms in the Real Estate space courting aspiring attorney's or are other fields of law dominating the summer apprentice/internship space? If so, what summer apprenticeship is best for someone who wants to be a Real Estate Attorney but can't get that internship?
