My friend is a programmer. He was mugged. He was taken to an ATM and made to withdraw $500 at gunpoint. My friend showed me the picture of the suspect, drawn in pencil. When the suspect was caught, the picture was incredibly accurate. So I said "wow that police sketch artist is really good"... My friend said "No I drew this. I used to be a portrait painter.." Turns out he became a programmer, after his daughter was born. It is a steady job, and the pay is great. His drawing was a key piece of evidence, and the guy went away for a long time. Apparently if you force someone to drive somewhere against their will, they can add a kidnapping charge on top of the armed robbery charge. Man, that was impressive work by my friend. Old people get confused. A nice old lady left a long message on my phone which was intended for her doctor. She was complaining about a bad reaction she's having with her medication. So I promptly called her to let her know the message didn't get to her doctor, and to find out the right number. But she kept asking me "how did you get MY number?" I kept saying "you called me....". Then it dawned on me she must've dialed from a land line, she doesn't know how a mobile phone works and she's scared that some stranger has her number. It took me a while to convince her that I'm not a scammer, I'm just trying to do the right thing. When I said "you're very welcome, and hope you feel better", she said "you are very kind, young man...". Poor old soul!

Like having real firefighters in some of the Firefighting based shows that are out there right now. Chicago fire is one as Tony Ferria of Squad 3 is in fact a real Chicago firefighter going under his real name that was brought on I think so that he could just drive the Engine but became a fan favorite. Can I have that lady stand in my street corner? She got the license plate number! She's awesome!
@DanielMcGillis-xs6rt5 ай бұрын
So they go from having no leads to having a license plate in two seconds flat thanks to a watchful neighbor. We need more people like this couple. Her watchfulness saved a life. I hope that wealthy family gave them a nice tip. Like, say a three-week vacation wherever they want.

If you actually noticed the reused a lot of actors on the show.
