I miss this show. Anybody could be the villain. Race, wealth, religion, nationality, creed... none of it was a barrier to writing a story. The characters in Law & Order, especially a lot of the villains, were three dimensional, and felt way more real than a lot of other shows. There were good guys and bad guys of every walk of life, just like real life.

I remember this episode. The wife was tired of her husband blowing all the money she worked hard to earn. She decided to have him "wacked." Then she took out the "Wacker" herself. Not that I would have done it her way, but I can certainly understand her frustration. It's not easy running a restaurant, even in the best of times. Him spending it as fast as it comes in, I don't know what I would have done in that situation. Maybe found some way to keep him away from the "candy jar"...
