You would be amazed at how common it is for people to murder and get others to help them dispose of the victim's body, particularly by younger offenders and family members. Even more brag about commiting very violent crimes to many people and not one of them lifts a finger to notify authorities. In far far too many people, peer acceptance is much more important than doing the right thing. They see it as scoring points with someone they see as cool. Look at the high school photos of these two; Bo is the dork while Ryan is the cool one. Bo was evidently known as a pathological liar, a sign of someone desperate to be admired and accepted. Finally, Bo probably did not like the police and is not going to go assist them against an admired buddy, which is why he bragged about what he did. Finally, I doubt that he knew what the penalty was for helping to dispose of a body as a deterrent; Georgia's penalty is unusually high for this. Guess time will tell but I'm inclined to think, based on other evidence, that Bo did not actually participate in the killing. Ryan, on the other hand, I think is on his way to becoming a serial killer, if he isn't already.

Duke is immediately eligible for parole due to time served. Duke, had confessed to killing the popular teacher in the small Irwin County town. Duke told investigators in 2017 that he killed Grinstead burned her body to ash with the help of a friend. Grinstead’s family told Thomas they are devastated; prosecutors were defiant as the Duke family and their Atlanta-area based legal team become emotional. Duke lowered his head and appeared to cry as five not guilty verdicts washed over him. The only conviction handed down to him was for concealing the death of Grinstead.

The witness said he saw Ryan having car trouble and appeared to be very drunk, so he offered a ride/help and the man replied with something along the lines of "yeah I better, the last time I got this drunk they told me I killed someone". Great show, but the audio levels are all over the place. Have to turn it up in some parts to hear you, and then quickly turn it down for other parts. Some proper audio mixing will really elevate the level of this production.

WSBTV News, May 23, 2022 IRWIN COUNTY, Ga. - Irwin County Superior Court Judge Bill Reinhardt has sentenced Georgian Ryan Duke to the maximum allowed by law, 10 years after a jury found him guilty for concealing the death of Tara Grinstead, but not guilty of her murder nor assault nor three other charges.

I can understand helping a friend in a gruesome murder coverup. I can see why a guy would hide the crime and the guilt he carried. I can understand he would admit to the coverup and go to jail for 25 years. I do not get when he saw the body naked that it was more than just a murder and did not question his friend in greater detail! But it was his teacher and he had a relationship with her so you would of thought he would of had a breakdown in emotions with her laying there in front of him. More to the story I suspect!

The latex glove has me stumped. It has Ryan's DNA on it. So did Bo plan this ahead of time? Did he get his buddy Ryan blind stinking drunk, wait for him to pass out, put a glove on him, take it back off, go kill Tara, rub that glove on her body, drop it outside her house, and then take her body to his farm and wake Ryan up and tell him that he killed Tara?

I hate it when suspects play the stalling game to drag things out and escape or delay justice. Some fire lawyer after lawyer, witnesses die or become unwilling to testify, evidence goes missing, plus the prisoner gets all the perks of being in county jail knowing that it’s a walk in the park compared to being convicted and sent to The Pen.

It's to the point that I am shocked when they actually do their jobs. God knows we got no help with my own sister's case.
