Getty Images InfoWars host Alex Jones was found guilty by default in all of the Sandy Hook shooting-related defamation suits against him on Monday. A superior court in Connecticut ruled that because Jones has not turned over documents ordered by the courts, including financial records, he is guilty by default, according to the New York Times. All together, Monday’s ruling combined with three prior rulings in Texas grants the families of 10 Sandy Hook victims victories across four defamation suits

No, he’s doing something way more specific and much worse. He’s soliciting Alex to make false statements. “But you’re right now bankrupt. Isn’t that right, Mr. Jones?” But they both know he’s not bankrupt. He asked that to mislead the jury in a way that could affect what they decide to award the plaintiff. I suspect that attorney is looking at serious trouble after this trial.

PT Barnum was a showman, a circus owner and remembered for promoting certain hoaxes and while that could certainly be a description of Alex Jones (as a modern day circus showman promoting conspiracies) when it comes to supplements I suspect you’re thinking of Clark Stanley’s Snake Oil Liniment. However, I’m probably nitpicking a little here but I doubt Barnum would be jealous about the selling of supplements during sworn testimony, but I do think Barnum would be impressed with Jones’ inexplicable appeal. I mean, how do people handle listening to him ramble on like that? And that’s when he’s being curtailed by court procedure. His show must be a lot.

Operation Paperclip, Operation Northwoods, Operation Mockingbird, the Tuskegee syphilis experiments; Iran Contra, Operation Fast and Furious, a million others. Let the curtain open up. Jones was wrong about Sandy Hook and he knew that many years ago and said so a million times. But what he’s right about is a lot worse. All declassified, you can look at them all now that the people who did them aren’t in power anymore. Care to check on those? Now if you want to know some current “conspiracy theories” that have real documents on UN, WEF, EU, US, etc. websites, I can point you to those as well. The crazy stuff isn’t even really hidden anymore, it’s out in the open. Because no one will read them. They’re just posted on open sites for everyone to look at.

@@nova5224 what I don't get is why a judgment in default was issued, he replied, in time he just did not send the information they wanted. Why did the case not go forward on the information they had. Because surly the police delaying releasing information - contributed to the hoax theory. To me the guy 'Dr professor' that wrote a book would have caused more harm, and Alex jones giving a platform, was redistribution of it. So they seem to go after the bigger fish. But if Alex can show the conspiracy theory had credibility at the time, and once AJ realised the proof did eventually come out, he publically apologised. But he never got a cease and desist letter, which is what Barns said is why the case should have been thrown out in the first place. But surly that would be a defence, but Alex did not get a chance to defend - because the judge said he was guilty by default in discovery. What a mess.

You don't watch many sentencings or trials, do you? No shade, just commenting on what I found cute. Yes, judges can and do receive letters and emails about cases they are residing over. One that comes to mind is the female police officer that shot a man dead in his car instead of tasering him. The judge, at her sentencing, comments on how many letters she'd received in support of the police officer. Stories of how she'd specifically aided them, etc. This is commonplace. I'm happy you've picked up this new hobby though! Watching trials can be very educational.
