All the men in the comments were shaming the mother, NOT THE FATHER, for going to work and not staying home to care for the baby. 98% of the time, who does all the childrearing? Who does all the childbearing? Who's body is forever changed from having said child? If a man wants to be the one who does all the nighttime every 3 hours feedings, all the diaper changes, all the income loss from missing work and not being able to work, then yeah, the kid should go with him. But does that ever rly happen? Not often. Women get stuck doing all that, so wouldn't it make sense kids go with them?
