I was a volunteer for the Sheriff in Southern California we were NOT allowed to wear any of our uniforms or anything that said Sheriff outside of time on duty PERIOD! This kid is up to something for sure.
Our dispatch is allowed to wear PD attire, though I’m not sure why they would want to, or any LEO would want to outside of work. As long as it doesn’t say anything leading to “police” or “peace officer”. But then again, none of them have ever been stopped in a plate carrier 😂 Anyone can wear “sheriff” on a shirt. The first amendment protects you there. It just cannot elude to you being a commissioned peace officer. I’ve been in LE for about ten years and have never wanted to wear anything that signifies my role outside of work in the first place. For me having “look I’m a cop” on me without a radio or people running accountability checks on me seems incredibly dangerous.

My ex is a police officer. She was only allowed to wear her uniform when she’s off duty all need to drive to work and drive home. She was OK with that. I’ve never been a police officer. And she said the uniform and all the equipment after a long days work she looks forward to changing her clothes. We had two children at that point. I told her I don’t care about your uniform that gun belt hast to stay at the precinct. Anybody who has kids know that no matter where you put things like that the kids will find it! She agreed. If you ask any police officer, they will tell you that all that equipment is cumbersome and not comfortable. Taking all that crap off at the end of your shift is welcomed.

Sociopath is a little harsh. The kid wanted to be a cop and whether it was his ability to get into college or the academy, something was stopping him. Otherwise he wouldn’t hesitate to take to proper steps to become a cop. The human brain don’t fully developed until around 25 years old. I honestly don’t think he was out there looking to hurt anyone. He just wanted to feel important. Unfortunately his immaturity led to making poor decisions and has cost him any chance of doing it the right way.

Diagnosing someone as a sociopath is a little more involved than watching a KZbin video. I'm getting so tired of people distorting the meaning of words. It makes accurate communication nigh impossible. Genocide, terrorism, weapons of mass destruction -- so many words have been usurped so that they no longer mean what they were supposed to mean. Just like -- someone committing a crime does not make said person an automatic sociopath or psychopath or whatever other long-distance diagnosis you people wish to make. I mean, who needs a Ph.D. in pscyhology when there's KZbin.

@@bgarmstrong1446 What mentally stable person walks around trying to intimidate other civilians? Even if your brain isn’t fully developed until 25 that’s not an excuse for this guys “power hungry” behavior at 19yrs old. Don’t forget how he tailgated a person & then BLOCKED them into their parking space when they pulled over just for staring at him. They couldn’t get away from him even if they wanted. The original comment might be a bit of an exaggeration but you are also minimizing the situation. He definitely needs an eye kept on him & a record of what he did. He’s going out of his way to make odd choices involving superiority over strangers.

"I'm not from here" in one breath and "My girlfriend lives a block over" the next and then "I'm visiting my mom to look for a job and move up here". This grown man knows EXACTLY what he's doing and the only reason you'd be impersonating LEO is because of the "power" factor of the uniform and badge yields towards civilians, especially women.

no 19 is not a grown man or a kid. he's a teenager...and technically is still going through puberty until 21... but he should have enough common since at that age to know what he's doing is wrong.
@zurizoraya8672 Жыл бұрын
I didn't see the part of the video where he said that but technically all of those things could be true. I'm not defending him because something is definitely menacing about his actions. I'm just saying that's a weak argument. What if his mom just moved up there, he visited before, he just happened to meet a girl and start going out with her and he's visiting again before he moves out there?

To me this is no less alarming than someone impersonating a doctor. It’s downright creepy, frightening, disturbing and endangers so many lives. He should never have access to a gun, police paraphernalia, nor should he ever be hired to work in any capacity of law enforcement. He 10000% intended to cause harm to someone.

Idk, i wanna agree with you but..... Something in me just finds it waaaay scarier to think that I could come in contact with a fake OBGYN/surgeon than a fake cop 😮. But you're right, it's really frightening that there are so many people doing this out there.

This guy should definitely be arrested (he was) and treated fairly for the crime he committed.But why you think he "10000% intended to cause harm to someone."... huh? He's a kid playing cops. Plain and simple. He did not intend to harm anyone. Just to flex some authority that he didn't actually have.

Probably shouldn't own any guns until he's evaluated and cleared, too. These are exactly the sort of red flags that America has to wake-up to if they intend to solve the mass shooting problem they're so sure is a mental health issue. We can't ignore these things anymore.
