Wow imagine being in that situation and having the 911 operator hanging up on you assuming that you are joking? This one women was in the clutches of her ex. He didnt know she had her phone. But her speech was slurred bc she was beaten with a baseball bat and she was on the back of his truck in a garbage can covered by a tarp trying to whisper also her kids was inside the truck. Her face had been beaten in. The police drove right pass them on the way to the scene. She was packed in his storage space on the bottom of a stack of boxes he had in there. He told the police he was too tired to remember what he did with her. The police agreed that he should have the rest he needed as they did not want to violate his Rights? Yes. The hero was that same sorry cops wife. Who told him he would not be getting any rest. To get back to work and find this poor women alive or no. One of the fresher officers went through the suspects wallet and found the storage ticket. Told the attendant to go check the space that he wanted to hold on the line until he returned. Dope officer busted the whole case open with a location on the victim. When the attendant ran back to the phone to say that yes he heard something. Makes me cry everytime too. She survived but lost a leg or at least a foot? But he had been repeatedly assaulting her too. She was made to share custody if their children. Finally she no longer had to legally. And she had come to pick up her kids for the last time.he knew this. Tried to kill her. Ohh she had a husband too who knew very well he was dangerous had threatened him for being present in the car when they had to pick up the kids. He prolly was great but. Great did her no good at any time.I think he was just as afraid if her ex.This angers me.I dont get it. I love macho kind if men. He knew her new husband was a kind coward. This has been shown on a couple true crime shows. Its a older case now though. I never forgot her. She survived.

They knew the bodies were there. It just makes things easier if they get a confession. Only Elizabeth and Stacey were in the house. He left Candace in a wooded ditch line behind a different house he'd squatted in in a county over. They were actually dating. Becky was murdered then driven to another county and dumped in the woods. We searched for her for 3 months until a utility worker stumbled across her. (That sick sob actually went back to those woods 4 months later and lived in them where he dumped her body until he found the new house to squat in).The first victim took forever to even identify because the pos couldn't even remember her name. They needed a warrant to search. An officer's sense of smell isn't probable cause, which is why they ask you how many drinks you've had when you get pulled over. Also, without a confession, it would've been hard to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was the killer. He was squatting there, so the house wasn't in his name and any number of people may have had access too it. Being a r**ist doesn't make you a murder. They went about it correctly.

I’ll say this again. I believe Ohio is haunted . Many of the serial killer cases I’ve looked into in the Ohio area range from Cincinnati down to Cleveland, there have been over 30 serial killers arrested Not to mention the ones unaccounted for . Luckily the young like ladies Amanda Berry and Gina Dejesus were found alive after being kidnapped for almost 14 years hidden in plain sight . This area just harbors so much dark and depraved energy and their citizens deserve better . I pray for all the women ,children, and men who remain in this area .

There's a short film (wish I could remember the name, but unfortunately I cannot) where the surviving members of a murder victim get to avenge their loved ones by making the decisions of having a doctor remove the limbs (and eventually senses eyes, ears, tongue etc) of the perpetrator. Some fates are much worse than death or life in prison & it's very unfortunate that monsters like this are not subjected to those fates.

I hope she knows how blessed she is because he was definitely going go torture her to death for sure. I was friends with a woman who had 4 kids. She had a son who was always in trouble for doing things that he wasn't supposed to do. They ended up moving out of town after she split from her husband. Years later her son moved back to our town to stay with her ex husband. He ended up meeting a woman at a bar, she took him to her house and he robbed her and strangled her to death. He then stole her car and went to buy gas with her credit card at a local gas station and then ditched her car at a church parking lot. After he did all of that, he bragged about it to his friends who were at the bar with him prior to him going home with the woman. This woman lived right around the corner from me. She had 8 year old twin girls. Women need to quit leaving with strange men and taking them home/going to his place. If that woman's twin girls were home, he could've killed them too. Start taking better care of yourselves ladies. If you're depressed, have low self-esteem, please try Jesus. God is the first step. See a therapist if u need to but just please don't ever go anywhere with a guy u don't know because you could end up hurt or dead. Love u all...stay blessed and be encouraged.

Well, if girls can be allowed to grow up without being told by everyone and everything around them that a woman's worth is dictated by her relationship status and whether she has children, they will not be so intensely driven to be in relationships. As for boys, they should be taught that they are not entitled to a woman's affections, and that "no" means "no", not "try harder".
