It almost blends into the background but still, it subtly helps decorate the scene while complimenting the other set pieces. I don't know how it didn't win an award, the judges were probably too interested in the plank 4th from the top of the building on the right of it and admiring it's russet tones. Don't worry off yellow and slightly rusted oil drum, you'll get a chance some day. Great movie , melancholy ending in the tale of how Forrest dies . Pearce's playing of the ultra evil and creepy deputy rakes was excellent .

You spelled Guy's last name correctly. What amazingly aberrant behavior...

How in the heck did Tom Hardy NOT win an Oscar with this.

My favorite is actually the end, where Charlie asks if Forrest is thinking of drawing on him, and Forrest just kind of grunts like "not today"

You know your a Badass when the local sheriff office have to bring in a special agent to bring you down. True story as well. Rakes was brought in by the Franklin County sheriff's office to smash the bondurants illegal activities

I am just watching the Jack Irish series with Guy Pierce and really enjoying his acting. The guy is quite amazing in how he approaches his various roles. Here in Lawless I was actually unsure if it was Guy Pierce or not. Tom Hardy has those same qualities.

Theres a lot of effort put into movies with Tom Hardy in them to make him look taller than 5ft 10
