This game is free as a ps extra member and I thought I had zero interest but my 5 year old told me to try it. I did and it is amazing I literally played for almost 5 hours the first day I had it. I can’t wait to get off work to go home and play again. So weird this game it’s just so relaxing and so much different than anything else you will play

What I hate about this game is when you cut the grass it looks like s**t. I want it to look like a soccer field not like grass is sprouting out of the dirt 🤷🏻‍♂️

That, and I hate how hard it is to tell where you mowed and where you didn't mow. There have been several instances for me so far where I've been stuck with only 0.2% left to go and I struggled to find the patches of grass.

@@LooterUniverse hey I'm doing decent for now mate, going through a lot of problems in life but I'm hanging in there it's the best I can do and if I had an Xbox series X/S or a PC for the most part I would of surely give this game a try cause it does seem very interesting with the challenges and the realistic mechanics

It affects their ability to do the job. So if its not well suited, it wont result in a good $ value, as they'll do more damage. Also, the higher the rep of the employee, the better quality and less errors and therefire more money you make

I did the first challenge last night and got 99.8% and it wouldn’t give me the last .1 and I couldn’t find anything else to cut so I failed it by running out of gas.

The challenges are grueling. I started a guide for them, and never quite finished it. May do one day. But main point is it's still about speed. You can't take your time for quality as you'll run our of fuel if too cautious. Use the "highlight" button if you're not already using it to help. (Click down on thumbstick to preview anything uncut). Usually edges. If you're doing that already, then yeah...not much else I'm afraid. The challenges from there get pretty intense.

Hi. I'm hoping you can help me out. I can't find any answers online so i'm on KZbin now. Some on contracts require a mulcher or a collector, so i go ahead and buy a mulch plate for the mower and put it on, but afterwards the contract still says it requires a mulch plate and i can't select the mower. The only mowers that work are the ones that come bought with a mulcher already on it.

quick question, for my second mower should i go toro z master 200 48in with recycling kit, the patriot 52 with stipes, or the stiga parkpro

Go Patriot asap. It's more versatile. And the cheapest striper. So it has its advantages in being able to use it on any location. Be sure to equip the side plate to stop mulch dropping off sides. Only downside is that it does leave tracks. U don't get penalised, but not as visually appealing. ParkPro is a lot of fun of course too. :) Up to you in the end.

Are you on Xbox? If so, I would suggest fully closing the game by fully "quitting" it within the Xbox dashboard. Then restart. Game does have some issues with the Xbox resume function corrupting game states/profiles.

Plz help me. I only have 1 garage (so 0 available. I dont have eco mower and the only 3 missions left are eco missions.. so i'm kinda stuck i cant skip days. Its the first day im playing... its really upsetting

Only way is to sell your mowers and sack staff to increase cashflow. Then buy an eco. Eco stuff was added in recent months, and I'm not a fan of how they embedded it into the life of the game, especially so early in career. It should be something that appears in distinguished level of career.

Contracts open up gradually over time. So you will be limited early on. Check revenue to make sure you made money when you finished a job. You should have. And you and your employees (if any yet) will be ready for the next day to go again somewhere. Also, on Xbox, Beware of relying on the Xbox system resume feature. The game hasn't traditionally liked that, and it can cause a bug where U can't cut the grass. It can be addressed by restarting the Xbox if it ever happens.

I’m three or four jobs in and my mower is cutting no grass at all. Feels like a bug but I must be doing something wrong? Tried mowing at all heights and as slow as possible to no avail. Any ideas?

Lowered the deck I presume? Also there is a known bug where sometimes, you start. New contract and it won't cut. They're working on it. Restarting the contract or game seems to solve it....

Thanks for the reply. I’ve tried restarting the game, choosing different contracts, lowering and raising the deck, doubling back on myself in case it needed two passes, going slow and fast. Feel like there’s some mechanic I just missed… The engine isn’t bogging down or anything, the revs never increase.

UPDATE: I found out on the Discord that this is an issue with the Smart Resume feature on Xboxes. Fully quit the game and it does sort it out, I’ve got it working now. I must’ve not done it properly before.

As soon as you can. Up the slot, so you can get a staff member in and use another mower, which increases Ur weekly RP, Revenue etc.

@@Thepossum04 yep upgrade so U can have more than one mower, hire a staff member, and get to the SCAG Patriot as quick as U can. It is diverse, mobile and quick. And reasonably priced.

Mowers and attachments are Available from the get go. Only some mowers have mulch plates though. I recommend the patriot asap. It's affordable and versatile for lots of lawns as it has a mulch and striping kit. You need to go into the garage icon and click on the relevant mowing after purchasing and then buy and then equip said add-on in the menus before heading out to a contract.

Is the locitech g930 works for xbox?

Logitech G29/G920/G923 are supported for PC ONLY for now. BUT you need to install the latest Logitech GHUB software. It won't appear in the menus, but it will work. No other wheel supported for now. Xbox support is COMING, but no date yet. It's due to the Unity engine not being compatible with wheels on Xbox. Unity are working on it

I like the concept of this game but idk if it's that it's boring to play or if it's the constant sound of the mower but every time I play this game it just puts me to sleep. I could have been wide awake when I loaded it up, but 10 minutes into mowing and I'm nodding off and veering off course.

It's not an unfair statement. Mower sound yeah it do be that. I call it the perfect 2nd screen game tho. Going thru my Xbox playthru now after hundreds of hours on steam, and I watch tv shows on the left. Mowing on the right. It's cathartic.

How the hell do you complete/finish a job? I'm on 99% and surely I don't need 100% to finish it?

Nada. Sometimes it's 99.3% or something like that. The prompt in the top right tells you when you've achieved the contract parameters. A prompt will appear that says "Job complete" it's subtle but there. You can also check on the contract status window before you start the job, the % requirement.

Just aim and hit the throttle. It's not very nuanced. It's "hit detection" on the grass is not amazing, so it doesn't have a great feel imho, but it's reasonable and great to prevent damage to garden beds erc

Buy the black knight first. Then go the SCAG Patriot 2nd. It's versatile ans useful all over. Oh and only buy the cheap yellow STIGAs for your staff as you grow. They never need good mowers.
