I'm more impressed that the Ego push mower made it through that tall grass. Mine always bogged down and clogged up the moment it hit any sort of thick grass.

Maybe you should have stressed the fact that this is perfectly fine specifically for that Kikuyu grass only. The more softer grass breeds we have here in the north/middle of Europe in our Atlantic climate would definitely have a very hard time to recover from that scalping. Maybe do a dedicated video on that Kikuyu grass. It looks very similar, if not the same that I saw in Spain. The grass in Spain that looks the same has to be planted and not seeded. They plant strands of it (like the strands we see that are left when you "scalp" your Kikuyu in very overgrown lawns). These lay down, take root all over and have grass leaves growing on top. And it tends to become a dense carpet, even when mowed regularly.
