It was recommended to use the 2.5 Ah battery. Are there any issues with using the 5Ah battery (motor running hotter???)? I saw that you mentioned it at 10:32, but wasn't sure why the 2.5 Ah was recommended by EGO. Excellent review. Thank you.

Higher battery doesn’t run hotter it is just that they are heavier.

@@lawnporn Thanks for the response. I was thinking along the lines of longer running time with the 5 Ah battery would have meant higher tool temps. Probably negligeable, so more of a weight issue makes sense. My HT2500 arrives tomorrow! 👍

What is the weight of both models with battery? It is a real shame the 61cm doesn't have an adjustable handle.... especially since so many competitors have it, I would give it a miss for that reason alone. Need those ergo features.

Lol what a stupid comment. I found the video very helpful in choosing which one to buy. Lots of pros in my area are starting to use these because they’re easier lighter and quieter to use than gas.
