@@scottlance2404there are brackets that hold it up on the ends of the bumper, sheet metal that rivets to the rockers with a groove and holds the side skirts, and those are always missing on used parts. That's some first rate exhaust work there Lawrence. I worked/ ran a custom exhaust shop for more than 20 years. I did a lot of show/ exhibition type of cars. For me those were the most challenging and time consuming. Not only did everything have to be 100% perfect, I was working on cars that had better quality paint underneath than most cars have on top. The vehicles I enjoyed doing the most,,, off road trucks. I seemed to do a lot of them. Most of my customers just gave me free reign on building an exhaust. They would normally pick what type of muffler they wanted and where they wanted the tailpipes to exit. My rule of thumb for custom work, it needs to be supported firmly enough that I could hang my entire weight on it. I'm 240lbs. If your not sure about how much clearance you need between the pipes and the floor or any other objects, you should be able to fit your hand around the pipe easily. That will give you perfect spacing every time.

The final version is best 👌. It will be appreciated going down the road. No drone noise, that becomes nerve-racking and just louder as you go. One thing you could do... if you feel the itch so badly you want sound. Install a switched electric cut out. So you have a complete open exhaust [like uncapped headers]. Push button and show off.. push the button sleeper / cruising mode. Kinda fun on cruise nights to pull in and open it so you can hear the beauty of the motor.
