Great review! My brother loves his Lawson Hammock--I'll have to tell him about the underquilt. Thanks, AA!

Have you slept in it without the under quilt and if you have how much difference does it make?. Is it more for colder weather conditions,?

Yes, I tend to only bring out the underquilt on my fall or early spring trips because it does make a big difference for warmth on those cooler nights when it's windy too. For warmer summer nights, I just have a sleeping bag and sleep pad inside the hammock, no underquilt, and find it to be just the right temperature. I typically am colder at night too, so I definitely don't think it's needed on warmer nights for most people. Hope that helps!

Nice review. Can you give me a link to find the underquilt? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the kind comment! The underquilt can be found on amazon (www.amazon.ca/Lawson-Hammock-Underquilt-Ultralight-Backpacking/dp/B07T8CCPGR) or on Lawson's website (www.lawsonhammock.com/products/underquilt)... I looked at both sites before purchasing mine to get more reviews and specs. Hope that helps!

Question, there is a review online of this hammock that says the reviewers didn't like this hammock and couldn't sleep because they couldn't lay on the diagonal like a normal hammock. Has this been a problem for you?

This hasn't been a problem for me at all. Personally, I don't even sleep on a diagonal in it because with the right angle of hang and the spreader bars, the hammock is flat enough to lay straight anyways. If you wanted to sleep on a diagonal, there is certainly enough space within the hammock to do so, but it will never feel like a traditional hammock because of the spreader bars
