Great advice on how to work a shrimp lure. Also your videos are very real with success and failures and not pretentious or over edited. Very enjoyable to watch.

Cool vid Lawson. Ive worked at tackle shops like bass pro and now crook&crook for years, one of my most commonly asked questions is "what are best inshore saltwater lures" or "one of". What I've come up with in my experience is there are 5 lures any person inshore fishing should have. #1 a mirrolure mirrodine #2 a heddon spook #3 a pack of doa shrimp/gulp shrimp #4 a white bucktail jig #5 a pack of jig heads for live shrimp/cut bait/gulp . The colors and sizes would depend on the area the person fishes the most, and I can't imagine a scenario where the person wouldn't have what they need with those. But yea just my 10 cents on "the best inshore lure" question. Keep up the good work brother, I dig the new lense btw!

Dude you are great.i consider myself an experienced Bass fisherman, but recently got into inshore fishing. Your videos and your teachings surely makes me more aware and a better snook fisherman. I'm very glad you take time to make these videos. I love watching you. Congrats!!!

Best saltwater lures gotta be between DOA shrimp, DOA CAL swimbaits, and Heddon spook/chugging spook. Great vid! Keep it up! Love the saltwater fishing!

I concur...I slam seatrout, snook, and redfish on the D.O.A shrimp here in the Mosquito Lagoon area. Nothing beats a plain old red head Zara spook when they're hitting topwater. I also do well with the Strike King Redfish Magic spinnerbaits

Hey man. Have enjoyed/subscribed to your videos the last few months. I'm up here in NE FL and we see very few snook. We're all about the redfish and the breeders up here. You seem to have the same enthusiasm I did at your age, where there is too many fish, too little time. Haha. Keep up the great quality of content and videography. The new camera looks great! I wish I could fish with you one day your videos are always awesome! I lost my leg in a motorcycle accident about a month ago and just got back into fishing and I am so grateful to be out and about again I want to start a channel as well and your a huge motivation for me and a extremely good video editor I love how you present your work! Could you do more videos in the feature on how to use specific lures like a crystal 3d shrimp or a buck tail and stuff like that even if it’s a short video it would definitely be informative and I can’t seem to find Certain videos I’d like to see on specific lures properly explained on retrieval methods or just quality videos with unique lures like the crystal shrimp or a center focused topic like that out their. Anyway if you see this message your awesome bro and keep up the grind💪🎣

Nice video Lawson its cold over here as well in port Charlotte I saw a giant redfish tailing yesterday but a snook that it my lure and jumped spooked it but I agree I think the doa shrimp is one of the best I've tried other shrimp brands and didn't like them doa is my brand for soft plastics but your right people don't have enough patience to work them but I personally love finesse fishing so catching fish on doa shrimp is one of my favorite techniques even love throwing em with a popping cork it really works great for snook and redfish catching a 30" red is awesome with a doa shrimp its also cool seeing em hit the popping cork sometimes

Best lure I would say is either a basic spoon(say a kastmaster or kroc) or a bucktail jig. Most versatile, simple, and productive. Can't argue with that lure being tops, for what and where you are using it, however.

Next time you hang with Jon B have him start the video telling his subscribers to "Follow Lawson Lindsey Fishing". Don't be a lil peeny about it. Just be like "Hey Jon, lets see how many subs I can get from you doing a opening shoutout". stroke the ego and watch your subs jump. You deserve it buddy. Definitely the best content here.

Getting back into fishing again and I ran into your videos. I live off the Indian River in Brevard County, FL. As a kid in the 70s and 80s here, we used to fish, crab and clam these waters. The river was so clean. Today, due to run off and sewage, I wouldn't trust consuming anything that comes out of the rivers unless they are close to the inlets. Are you catch and release only or do you consume some of these fish? I like your videos and I learned a few things about fishing...Thanks!
