He take full responsible on everythings he involved. He wanted to give his best without dissapointing anyone especially those supported him. No doubt there are haters that trying to disgrace him, but who doesn't? Many popular artirts have some group of people that dislike them or disagree withn their works. As long as Lay proof his talent and abilities, he will soon changed the bias thinking of these people, changed their perceptions and earn their respect. Thanks for reaction. There is a lot of deep meaning behind it. This MV is talking about a famous Chinese general in the history, before Han dynasty. His name is Xiang Yu, who win all the battles but lost in a big one and committed suicide. Lay use Xiang Yu ‘s perspective to express his own attitude toward his antis. Lit sounds like Chinese character “莲”，means lotus flower, which has meaning in Chinese culture that born in mud but keep clean and beauty by itself. But nowadays netizens give it another meaning of “pretend innocence and pretend to be purity”. And Lay’s anti use “莲”lotus to mock his personality that always looks good and anti are expecting Lay will show his bad side and finally turn out to be a bad guy. Antis mock on his dream to take Mpop to the world, even use some fake or twisted information to make him bad guy. But in this MV, Lay express his dream and ambition directly. This MV was based off of Yixings (Lays) favorite Chinese historical figure. A Chinese general named Xiang Yu, who fought in the battle of Gaixia. The background music you hear in the beginning is called “The Song Of Gaixia” which Xiang Yu composed for his wife Lady Yu (lays song Jade) who later took her own life. The MV is the portrayal of Xiang Yus entrapment by the Han soldiers while trying to rescue his wife Consort Yu.
