LayedBakDFR you’ve mentioned you wanted to do country. Check out a band called Hootie and the Blowfish. They are a rock band, but they sound very country. Great music though. What I love about this part is that from the beginning and all throughout the song you can hear these 3 notes in the background going low-mid-high-mid-low-mid-high, and at that part it's the only time where it breaks into a proper melody for the climax of the song. Amazing.

This song is really personal to me. Sometimes I tear up a little toward the end when he’s singing “the sun goes down / I feel the light betray me.” Probably my favorite from LP and one of the best ever. As the opener on their debut album Hybrid Theory, you could argue that this changed music. It was a revolutionary sound. First time watcher of this channel and the way you immediately “get it” and are vibing to all the sick riffs made me an instant subscriber.

Chester was someone who battled with depression and what I get from the video is that its a metaphor. They're in this room of gold and fancy shit, but behind the walls there's ugly and a festering growth. In the end, it starts to break into the room, showing that the ugly thoughts or depression is winning and taking over the mask of happiness that they put on for their family, friends, and fans.
