I absolutely loved it after the second layer. That's the beauty of art, though. Each of us can experiment and have our own vision within the same project. You always make it look so easy when I know that there is so much technical skill and knowledge involved. Beautiful peace.

You are Sooooo clever with your colours, knowing what goes with what! You are a true professional that’s for sure! The colours you mixed and what I saw of those colours didn’t look all that nice lol WOW you blew my mind seeing them being poured 😮 I’m a 76 year old wanting to start these projects and obviously starting small. You are an inspiration. Thank you😊 I love watching you work.

Love your videos! I found a super thin resin that cures overnight. I actually don’t like it for my normal pours because the results are totally different, but it might be what you’re looking for. It’s called Extreme Resin (I’m not affiliated with them). Part A is super thick but Part B is like water, and when you combine them, the mixed resin is really thin. It’s a nice resin, easy to release bubbles and has about a 40 minute work time.

Forgot to mention how nicely the turquoise really brightens up the composition, but I can see how you might not want it taking over. And did I mention that I LOVE your Alvin-the-chipmunk imitation?!? 😅😂😅 Gave me a few giggles. 😂 A 4th layer! Did not expect that! I do love the orange that you've incorporated, too. It gives a wonderful contrast to the predominantly cool colors. Very nice! Yay! You didn't cover up the top right corner! The cells on the bottom layer, left side are really nice, too. I can't talk and chew gum at the same time, either...let alone *think* while doing either! GORGEOUS pour! 👍❤😊

Pretty piece. BTW, the orange does not match the color on the Liquitex container because you mixed it in with resin and not a pouring medium. A pouring medium along with the pigment would match that same color on the container. Same with mica poweders. You will get a different hue if you mix mica in with a pouring medium as opposed to the color you'll get from adding it to straight resin.

Guam is the same, when it comes to shipping. We have flat rate shipping but companies either choose to ignore that or they just really don’t know. At one point, when I was doing nail art, I called a well known polish company to ask if they could accommodate my order; their response was that it was not cost affective to ship to Guam. I did not understand that response as it costs the same amount of USPS is used. I guess these companies rather not use flat rate. Idk.

you know I adore your art, WOW, Those colors are amazing. I have questions, I have watched many many videos and now I'm terrified to try and use my resin, I have everything I need all the way to the safety gear. how do I get over being so scared? also does the resin need to be warm or hot before I pour? It's crazy but I can use UV with no problem.
@ResinAsYouWish
@ResinAsYouWish 2 жыл бұрын
Resin does not need to be warm or hot before you pour. When you warm it up, it thins it out and helps pop bubbles, but you can pour it in and spread it out before you heat it. I was scared to do it at first too, and I learned lessons along the way - what happens when there is too much heat, it won't set right if the room is too cold, if you put your heat gun too close it will scald the resin - and no matter what the worst case scenario is to just try again. Start on one small coaster and see what you think!

Or Amazon will take 3 weeks before they ship it out. I have that problem with getting packages to Barrow, AK. The best resin shipment I had was a company on Etsy who used flat rate and it got here pretty quickly. Stonecoat wanted to charge $245 in shipping fees for a gallon of resin a few years ago.
