I love this look :))) Lindsay, you have no idea how difficult it was for me to find these deckle paper edge scissors. I wanted to have them so badly just because I saw you using them and I got every other edge except these ones. And then one day I was in a store searching for something totally different and there they were... Just one pair left, waiting for me! I couldn`t help but smile all the way home, constantly having you in mind because you`re the only one, I know, who uses them. Well, they aren`t as fancy as yours but good enough for me :))) Thank you for always inspiring me with your wonderful out the box creations. xoxo, Josi

This came at such a great time. Im trying to learn how to do watercolor pouring with masking fluid to block off areas each time & have been struggling through it. This helps it make sense now & will be a useful way to practice until I have a final piece in mind. Thank you for these great videos!

Watercolor pouring with masking fluid? Are you masking areas then pouring the watercolor, waiting for that to dry, then masking again? I could see where that would be similar to "negative painting," maybe? What a neat idea. I've often wondered if anyone pours watercolor like they do acrylics. Where did you learn about this? Thank you if you reply, tell your secrets!😊

I really love that stamp you used. I've been wanting to order from Topflight Stamps, I've been wanting some Lavinia stamps for years, and they're one of the few places that carry them. I also think I'm going to have to look for those cute robot stamps you used recently. Lindsay, you asked a while back if people were still interested in your card videos. I know I still watch them a lot because even though I don't make many cards, you can often learn techniques( like this easy and awesome one today) that you can use for other things. Personally, I love mixed media and I almost always learn something I can use from your videos. But, I must say the videos where you show us how to save money making our own supplies are my absolute favorites!

Lindsay, PLEASE, don't stop making videos about CARDS! I know that that aspect of paper crafting is rather "long in the tooth", but it's one form of artistic expression that more people may be willing to try, as opposed to a "master work".

Thanks for this great video. I decided in the last year, that I’m going to stick with watercolor as my main colorant, rather than investing more in water-based markers, or anything in alcohol markers. I have found that watercolor is no more work-intensive than great marker work, and it’s more flexible. My little Cotman pocket sketcher set will give me a huge range of colors, so I don’t need to go out and buy a zillion markers AND ink pads AND other media sets. I love your resist work. And I’ve been working to improve my watercolor techniques, including glazing. This video just hit my needs on so many levels. Thanks for a great lesson! Love the stamps, too!

These cards are stunningly beautiful! I love how you take tried and true techniques and come up with something that is fresh and fun. I really like the variation in the flowers, and the buttons and lace lend it that old world elegance without them feeling contrived or fussy. I also like how you constantly use your different adhesives or a different type of card or watercolours, it really reinforces that "use what you have" idea, and seeing some one use something like you have really helps instill confidence in people that may be starting out.
