Once again, his birthday party and memorial to Andy Wood and all the others who left far too soon was an incredible experience. It was at Neptune this year. I always feel like we are a big, strange family when we are together. Layne's mom of course and Mike Starr's mom were there. The band was so great and fed off of us being so into what they were doing. This is always one of my favorite nights of the year. Some people fly in from everywhere for the party and the tour at London Bridge Studio. RIP Layne and all the other gentle souls who left this world a far better place for just having lived here.
