Welcome back to the UPWFOL in 2018. After a long time I will show you some scenery update... - First I am going to show you a new tunnel portal, which I have built from scratch and new rock formations. Than you will see the ground cover of my new desert scenery and in the end I will show you my new grade crossing and a working grade crossing signal made by Details West...
Enjoy the Video!

Great Job on your Layout. People don't think to model those Rock Fences, That is a Cool way that you scratched a Fence. I also like your Grade Crossing.

Really nice work. The tunnel portal, rock formation, and crossing look very prototypical and real. Great detail in what you've done.

The scenery is coming out nice. I enjoyed the 2 videos of how you made the rock formations. Looks a little time consuming but the results are worth the effort. And those pine trees near the tunnel portal look great. I'd love to see a how to video on you making one.

Question: are you planning on doing a backdrop at all? I've honestly considered not doing one because I can't decide if the pros outweigh the cons. -Cam

Good morning Cam - i have the blue painted backdrop all around the layout. I will not paint scenery or clouds on it. It was a very difficult question for me as well - but in the end it is a question of believe...?!?! I hope that I have answered your question. And by the way - your layout is amazing and your pictures on instagram are fantatic as well ;-) Volker
