@WynneL Жыл бұрын
Or maybe you *are* mature for your age--but you do NOT have to go older to find a mature partner! After how many creepy guys my dad's age hit on me throughout my entire teens and twenties (and once recently, ugh), I gave a younger guy a shot (27) and he's my best friend and partner now. Numbers are no guarantee of maturity in either direction. It's way more important to find someone who treats you right and respects and cherishes you than anything else. Find someone who feels like your EQUAL! They shouldn't be fetishizing your age (again, either direction!), they should be seeing you as a person, and being *extra respectful* if you are younger, only being convinced by seeing compatibility over time.

I grew up in a pedo state, so being harassed was an everyday thing. Especially when I was a young teen (12-15). One time I wore shorts (not even revealing) and I was walking with my bf and that entire day older guys would drive by honking and cat calling, I was 15 and it made me completely uncomfortable. I would get mistaken as my dad's girlfriend literally while I was with my dad, so he stopped wanting to go in public with me. Because of all the attention and creeps I would rarely leave my house, to this day, I still don't, unless I'm wearing really baggy clothes or with my husband, unfortunately, even then it doesn't stop them, sometimes they will hit on me literally in front of my husband. Like recently, when I went out with my inlaws to a bar for the first time, I thought I would be okay with them, instead a group of guys came onto me the whole night, it didn't matter that I told them I was married, or that I was with family, they cornered us at the door when we were leaving and had my inlaws not physically put themselves between the guys and me I can only imagine what they would have done. I was just trying to have a fun night and hang out with my family. Instead, I went home and cried my eyes out to my husband.

"Yes All Women" is women trying to tell everyone else that we *all* face this kind of harassment! It doesn't have to be all men. She managed to get away from him luckily. But I'm wondering where were the teachers at? I'm not blaming them if something happens to them, but it almost seems like they don't want to give it a try to call the cops
@Lara-rm3gs Жыл бұрын
@@edayavuz1667calling the cops is likely to make an aggressor angrier and more aggressive. There’s a saying that goes “men are afraid women will humiliate them, women are afraid men will k*ll them.” and it rings true in every interaction. Also, a lot of times cops can’t/won’t do anything because there’s not enough definitive proof of stalking/harassment. Cops unfortunately only tend to do something after a woman has been physically harmed, and even then women are ignored and told they’re overreacting, told they were asking for it.

@@Lara-rm3gs I don't know why you leave the house then. I'm sry it's hard to talk about smth like this through writing but maybe you should just stay home then? Are you rly trusting in your pepper spray? I mean sure calling the police won't be easy either but that's rly the one thing that could realistically help and the fact that it doesn't is not related to the aggressor it's literally the polices fault. Don't let yourself get cornered by the aggressor and police. Either protest for the police to change or honestly don't leave the house imo. I know it sounds harsh but that's just true and that's what it's come to

When I was in the early years of my marriage- maybe 27 or 28 years old- I was at this private club we belonged to with my husband and a male friend of ours. I’d gone up to the bar, which was only a few feet from our table, to get a drink. Now, I’ve never thought I was attractive, but the wife of my husband’s coworker thought I looked like Barbie, so take that as you want (sadly, I don’t look like Barbie at 50, I look like a 50 year old Barbie 😂) Anyway, while I’m waiting, this guy comes up to me. He’s in his late 50s/early 60s, short, beer gut, hair sticking out at all weird angles and looking like he hasn’t washed it in a year or more just like the rest of himself. He smiles at me to show me that Sponge Bob has more teeth than he does and what he had left were rotting out. He asked, “Is that your boyfriend over there?” Dear god, this literally filthy old man was hitting on me… Luckily I’m a smart ass. Since I was with my husband and our friend and they both had different hair colors, I looked over at our table and said, “Who… the blonde?!” in a tone that made it sound like “you SERIOUSLY think I’d be with him” before plainly replying “No…” I’m telling you, this guy’s face lit up like Christmas, like he actually thought he had a shot. Then I smiled sweetly at him and said, “He’s my husband…” You never saw anyone look so terrified as he backed away, apologizing profusely, nearly tripping over himself in the process. I’m sure he never did anything so stupid again and either stuck with women his own age in his own league or bathed first before he tried hitting on a woman again 😂

I’ve had this happen to me at work and when I was out in general. Men old enough to be my dad would ask me personal questions if I was married or had a boyfriend. This one instance they got so persistent I had to lie that I had a boyfriend just to get them to back off. He wouldn’t have left me alone otherwise and it’s a shame there are men who think just because we’re there they can treat us however they want.

There was no way I’m letting him know where i live so i lied saying my bf is waiting for me inside the mall he dropped me off and wouldn’t drive away until he saw me get in

Drivers do this all the time. Uber drivers, cab drivers. I remember reading somewhere that if you're single, lie. That some men will stop if they think you're with a man (but not if you just say you're uncomfortable), so that's what I do. But 90% of the time if I have to use a service like that, I get those questions. And a coworker of mine actually got stalked by her uber driver. Since he had her address, he started showing up outside her house. She had to file a police report.

He knew it was awkward he showed up in same direction and to play it off he wasn't following her and stalled. Then he saw her, heard her about to leave then left with her at a distance but at his disappointment he had saw her with someone and just walked off cause missed his potential opportunity. I'm a woman and late to this video but i'll share my two stories. So story 1: (this happened YESTERDAY. I am underage AND i have a girlfriend. keep that in mind.) I was in my Mom's car eating food while she shopped in GoodWill. I finished my food and god bored so I took the keys unlocked the car and started walking across the street to the entrance door. At the same time I opened my door this 30 yr old looking guy opened HIS car door and he started walking quick behind me. He got really close and kept looking at my butt...So I got uncomfortable and walked faster. He was at this point 3 inches behind me...I could hear his freaking breathing. I walk around the store looking for my mom. It was in a public place so he walks off somewhere else in the store...watching me. so I find my Mom and say "Mom." he immediately turns around and leaves. Yet he's by the door entrance standing there. I start panicking so I stay in the store with my mom. We leave and I see his car driving off...I got freaked out and when I got service I immediately texted my gf for comfort. story 2: (this story was at my old city. and I almost got kidnapped. TW for this story: Sexual a$$ault.) I was walking home from the grocery store and I was walking slowly because my leg hurt. I hear a loud motor/motorcycle and I' m like whatever ok. So I keep walking. (My house was up on a hill btw.) I see the motorcycle drive up next to this stop sign across the street from me. He looked really sketchy. army pants, army boots, sleeveless stained shirt and messy hair. I got freaked out so I kept walking up the hill. I step off the side walk and my intuition is like "GIRL WE FINNA GONNA DIE BITCH RUN" im thinking "why am I so panicky." and I turn my head and he's staring at me. When I turn my head back to start walking again I hear the motor again and he drives at full speed his arm hanging out and driving towards me. I panic. I run. I run so fast up that damn hill. when my mom swung the door open and pulled me inside he drove off quick. We called the police and apparently he has been looked for for a few months (7 i think) for sexual a$$ault and attempted kidnapping of young girls. They finally caught him. Thank god. I figured out he had been STALKING ME for MONTHS. im just happy he's gone now. If my girlfriend is reading this, I know we're long distance but thank you for always being there for me. Through my trauma. and the incident yesterday. I'm always here for you. And I love you. ❤

And when i voiced my concerns about her relationship, her excuse was that boys her age are just too immature, and that she's almost 14 so it's fine. I cut ties with her after that.

I hated when I had to run the store I worked at on my own, when I was in my early 20s. I'd get so many creeps coming in that I had to have the shopping centre security on speed dial! I had a code with them too - I'd say the lights aren't working on the second floor, could you take a look. They knew that meant creep, so they'd just hang around and look menacing 😅. It usually cleared the guy out fairy fast! I did sometimes get followed when I left work, but I always managed to lose them in another store etc, then double back and take another route. It was really scary when that happened!!

A few weeks before (I’m 17) I was at a party, hosted by one of my closest friends and some friends of mine were there too. Some of them got really drunk, so did a male „friend“ of mine. During the party, he grabbed my butt multiple times, was laying on top of me and kissed me. I didn’t say anything because I was so scared and shocked, but it really traumatized me to the point, where I broke down crying in class, days later. A teacher spoke to me and I talked to my parents/friends and everyone was luckily supportive. Also I found out, he sexually harassed two other girls. I talked to him, but he told me he couldn’t „remember“ anything and told me, he would drink less. A day later at a party, he was completely drunk again. But he kept distance from me and my friend said, she would never invite him again. I really hope, things like this will stop… And to anyone who‘s experienced something similar: I hope you’ll be able to heal and it‘s NEVER your fault!!

I remember when at Walmart, my mom needed to grab something so I was left with the cart and a old man was standing with me (he worked there). Moments my mom left, he immediately started walking up to me, amd stopped inches in front of me. He was originally on the other side of the cart, and I was clearly backing up. I actually had to press myself up against a wall just to get any amount of space between us. He was saying something but I didn't respond, luckily he backed off after I didn't respond and my mom came back. We immediately left after that, I didn't tell my mom since I was just so scared and uncomfortable by the situation. I was trying not to cry in front of my mom while in the car, I don't know why the f the guy thought it was a good idea to come over to me to try and start a conversation. He easily could've tried it from where he was originally standing.

I'm only sixteen and I already had 4 encounters of men being creepy to me... The first 3 of them were all by the same guy, that lives in my neighborhood in Germany. The last one was in Italy. 1. A dude around 25-35 asked me when I was 11 in a bus after my name and tells my that I'm pretty and asked if I had a boyfriend. Luckily I had to get out at the next stop. 2. The same Dude asked me when I was 14 and swinging on a swing If he can "play with me", smiling like the creep he is. I said no and ignored him and after a while he left me alone 3. Again the same dude, another year later, I was fifteen. This time I was'nt alone. I was eating ice cream with two female friends. He first asked for directions, trying to start a conversation. Then he called us pretty and asked again for numbers. When we refused he again left us alone, but continued to look weird into our direction, so me and my friends quickly left. 4. This was in Italy, I was sixteen and the guy was really old (80 I would guess) It was already dark and we were alone on a bus. He was sitting infront of me. I saw what was on his phone... It was absolutely disgusting and unreal p*rn... He notices me and turns around, smiles and turns around his phone, so I can see it better. I pretended to go out at the next station, but in reality got into the seat right at the front next to the driver... Luckily nothing to extreme, but still, I will never forget these creepy smiles.

When I was 22 I had just started my current job. An old man (I’m guessing 70-80) came in my office to pay his bill and immediately started being a mega creep and hitting on me (like making comments about how attracted he was to me, that I was the prettiest girl he has seen working there, comments about my body, my hair, eyes. Things like that). Since I work alone, I didn’t have any coworkers around to save me from this weirdo, so I had to just do my best to put up with it and get what he needed done as quickly as possible to get him out. At one point he commented on the fact that he had never seen me there before and asked if I was new, to which I said yes, and he asked if it was my summer job (this happened during the summer obv). It’s my full time job so I told him that and his face changed to kinda confused looking, and asked how old I was. I told him I was 22. Right after I told him that, his face changed to a scowl like he was mad/irritated with me, and literally said “oh… I thought you were 16 or 17” and his tone for the rest of the transaction changed from him being a creep and hitting on me and say gross sexual things to me, to being really short and rude with me. Like I was the asshole for “deceiving” him about my age and was disappointed he wasn’t in fact getting to hit on an underage girl… that whole interaction made my skin crawl. Every time he had to interact with me for any business related things from then on out he was a complete asshole to me too, like he held a grudge against me for being over 18 🙄

Do you need me to do something about this?” That creeps and perverts really don’t like to be around lmao! And when you stride up Trans Masc to someone getting harassed just because they decided to present more femme (aka feeling pretty but getting called “A cheap whore” like in the video) dude’s boners tend to retreat once they realize they done goofed and are about to get knocked tf out 😂 But seriously, see something say something is real if you’re a bystander, and if you show your harasser that you’re going to fight back and let everyone know what’s going down, they tend to back down. I am so proud of and applaud all the people in the video that called out their harassers while also gaining evidence of the harassment!!

when I was 15 I was with my friend (she was 18) to get her groomsmen fitted for her wedding… I turned around and I caught a 40 year old man WITH HIS KIDS sneaking a photo of my behind… and how I knew he was is bc his flash went off!! I didn’t do anything and regret it…. ALWAYS SAY SOMETHING 😭

It's so funky how the dude said 14 yr old r mature bc they're horny. Like THATS EVEN WORSE! Yk how impulsive u r when ur horny? That shit is soo dangerous

EW! Horny people are SO impulsive. I had a HORNY 14yr or 15yr text me on snapchat and I lied about my age saying I was 18 and they after I said no MUTIPLE times they said "I'm literally so horny you don't get it." And sometimes I think about that interaction and feel really bad for him as it's been awhile, he probably regrets it. I also feel bad for him as I said I was 18! He literally put himself in DANGER because he was horny. I feel so bad for that guy. Although being horny shouldn't be excused for harrasing people, I CAN'T imagine how many times he's put himself in DANGER because he was horny and persistent. I think about that a lot and it just makes my stomach fall, I hope he regrets it and is safer in the future..

I'm 12 and the other day I was walking to the bus stop(it's super close to my house) and this car drove past one time veryyyyyy slowly. I didn't think it was that bad at first but then they did it like three more times. So I started running at top speed to the stop where other people are. After I made it and lots of kids were around in case anything happened, the same car drove past again. I swear I almost had a panic attack it was terrifying. Now i always feel that someone is watching me when I go to the bus stop and I usually run there.

I work nights driving a street sweeper n have 2 get out to fill it with water. So I carry a flashlight that is also a taser. I'm a single mom n have to protect myself. Need to be there for my daughter. It says it can take down a 500lb man. So I think I'm pretty safe with it. The noise alone scares a lot of people. The cops say never carry a knife cause a man will just take it from u. But there's no way he's getting a Taser out of my hand while it's turned on. And also ladies the cops also say more people will run out to help you if you yell fire not r@pe or help. Just a couple tips. If u yell help yell fire also. They say most people mind there business. I know sad right.

About the first video; it wasn't her brother. It was on news, that just a random guy that she asked to walk her home. I remember one time I was sitting on the bus with my Mom and a dude take a picture of my face, with the sound on. I was fourteen.

This is why I dress like a male and act like one when Im in public. My mom is always asking me why I wear baggy clothes and always shaming me for wearing my hair in cornrows. She says I look like a guy. That's what I'm going for, its for my safety.

Creeps like these terrify me and the fact that I was SA-d by a creep like that and he's my grandmother's husband (second one not my grandfather fortunately ) i was 19 and he is 70 smth and he told me he touched me because "he was a man" and that he got hard now I have a lot of trauma from that and unfortunately it was recent too and now i have a lot more fear of dudes especially old dudes more than I had before , I also had a creep looking at me very creepy on the bus stop and after that in the bus while I was going home from my other grandparents and I when I walk on the street not really wearing anything much revealing dudes and a lot of old ones won't stop looking at me it's honestly so scary I'm always scared of someone following me or smth bad happening to me because of them and the law in my country is literally awful and corrupt and its on the abusers side and if they get caught they don't even get 10 years it's literally less than that and a lot of women gets murdered here because they decided so set boundaries and cut off the creeps but they get murdered by the same creeps and nothing is done about it or getting SA-d publicly too by creeps (there was even a case where a weirdo decided to walk around a park basically naked with his thing outside around girls and even pregnant women like it's so creepy it wasn't in my town but there's a lot of these here too and I'm genuinely terrified to go outside alone when it's dark )

Oh my god. I'm so sorry. Maybe there's already paper trail on this guy, because he's a predator, but please file a police report on him! The police should let you know what free public resources are available for you to start healing from that nightmare.
