I was blown away the first time I heard Bone Thugs. Easily one of the goat rap groups of all time. Every member has soul, flow, can harmonise as well as being able to rap with the best of them. Such a talented group and I'm so grateful to hear their music when growing up as a teenager.

Me too im a 95 baby when i first heard of them it was in 2000 when they dropped resurrection, i knew they was vets because they was in the game 6 years so i went to my sister CDs and listened to creeping and eternal?? Boy it was like i became a fan instantly 😂😂😂😂 I was puzzled how these niggas can sing while rapping at the same fucking time thought they was not human. Krayzie bone is my fav till this DAYYY 😡
Bone likes to keep it too modest and humble most of the time, which speaks volumes to how solid their character is. But I'm not here to do that. If you were old enough around back then to witness and experience their takeover. There's not a single artist Layzie mentioned that ever came close to F**kn with BTNH or that style in their prime. IDGAF who you mention. E.1999 album was untouchable then and still is till this day. So many people stole from that album, it's not even funny. (Real ones know)

Lay ain't lying, forget about the fast flow bone was the 1st rap artists to triple quadruple layer they verses, the 1st to really genuinely sing they own hooks, the 1st to harmonise and put melody in the verses too, every one of those elements were all gimmicks before bone, even the fast flow, they took all them gimmicks and made it multi platinum, and after that so many imitated it but to this day nobody has ever done it better and that's a fact, they genuinely changed the game like seriously in a real way, what they did was elevate hip hop and rappin to a whole other level and very very few can say that, it's str8 up criminal how their impact has been overlooked and downplayed, it's like if pop music or rock and roll slept ignored the Beatles, these dudes done sold like 50 million albums, it's crazy.

It was mainly east coast publications who said Midwest artists sound alike. They didn't have an ear for the music. They automatically said the fast rapping artists sound the same without paying attention to the cadence and delivery 💯

Fast rapping/twisting is a Midwest style, period. Midwest artist’s Twista (Chicago) & Bone (Cleveland) did it the best!…….💯💯💯👌🏾🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎙️🎶🎧🎸🎵

It ain't. It's a coincidence bruh 😅

@@TheCopyEngineer Boa please!…..Twista and Bone took it to another level, and made it famous!!…..NOBODY else was rappin lije that in the 90’s and making sense with they lyrics…..🙄😏😏

@@TheGobblersGetback I agree if you said they made it famous not saying that it is a Midwest thing. The Midwest thing is coincidental. Okay if you say so, name other rappers from Cleveland in the 90's that rapped fast? I was thinking that the fast rap was a part of the culture in Cleveland or in Chicago. But now I think it has to do with talent the most...

@@TheCopyEngineer Crucial Conflict, was from Chicago, and similar to Bone Thugs, even had a runnin feud wit each other I believe. Rappers like Nelly (St. Louis) and Eminem (Detroit) have also had songs, with fast rap styles at times….Do ya homework kid, I lived the 90’s in the Midwest as a teen…..👌🏾😉

@@TheGobblersGetback I never listened to Crucial Conflict because they were never mainstream hip hop. Didn't appear on XXL nor MTV. I do agree with you though about their rapping style. But the Midwest thing is more of a talent than culture. It wasn't even as big as how Trap Music was in the south! They never came together as a unit! Nelly wasn't a fast rapper. He stole Bone's flow. Eminem, I will say he had more of a lyrical eloquence than he has talent. He is witty and eloquent at the same time. Most white rappers are fast rappers though. Check out Rittz!

Eazy kept his artist away from trouble like Suge should have done with his artist like Pac for an example.

Not Suge lmfao. He held Pac by his dog leash (the deathrow chain) and literally said get 'em 😅😅😅😅😅
