LAZER LAMPS | Triple-R 1250 Smartview - Test

Showcasing three different installs, in this video we show the functionality of the Triple-R 1250 Smartview.
Operated via the touchscreen Dashboard Controller, Lazer Lamps MD, Ben Russell-Smith talks through the 5 different lighting modes and how they present themselves on the road; first, when a pair of lamps are mounted on the roof of a Transit Custom van (similar to what you might expect from any truck or LCV roof install), and secondly, a single lamp mounted in the lower grille of a Volvo XC90 (and also shown on a VW T-Roc).

My R750s on my T6 are absolutely incredible and recently during my partial conversion whenever I go to specialist s to get things added all they want to talk about is my Lazers ! I tell them ‘ guys seriously if you get these bad boys you won’t regret it ‘ !

They work the best on the transit. I would want mine mounted on the roof instead of low in the grill, although the grill mounting gives it a clean hidden upgrade.

Thanks for making such awesome lights. This IS the best lights available. So much better than Rigid, Baja, Hella etc etc. I can't wait to have mg Linear 18 Elite installed. Only problem is, these are very hard to find any as yet, unknown. I had to ring the people that built the Aston Martin GT4 race cars to find out about you guys!

Just about to have Triple r750's fitted to my sprinter (grill kit). Shame this product wasn't available/an option when i ordered. Any mileage in adding this as well or would that be overkill?. I was unable to order factory LED's to my new MB only Halogen ,hence the need to add yr great product. Thanks

I bought a used car with Lazer 1250. Control box has lights on but nothing happens when I press the buttons. Light works but I cannot change the settings from the control panel. Any ideas how to fix it?

In my experience Installing behind the grille drastically reduces the width of the light spread.

It's true that the light output will be affected by mounting behind the grill however, as long as the reflectors are not obstructed too much, the lamp will still give out a high level of light. In some countries, lamp theft is a problem and a covert installation may be the only option to protect the lamp from theft.

The Triple-R 28 is more powerful than the Triple-R 1250 Smartview, as you'd expect from a much bigger light. If in doubt, check the specifications on our website.

The lamps are coded to their own ATU control box. They will not work with other boxes.

how about heat produced by led bar in T-Roc? Does it melt plastic grill after some long time of usage?

Our lights have thermal control, so the lamp only generates heat up to 75C. So it isn't enough to distort the plastic of the grille.

@@leszeklicznerski453 yes, any of our lights with E-mark certification are road legal in the EU, i.e. can be switched with the high beam on the vehicle.

What is the connector called that you are using for the R-24? I misplaced my relay-kit and need a new one but I want one with the same connector :(

is it also approved for only fitting one Smartview on the roof? doesn't ECE 112 states that additional high beam lights have to be mounted in pairs?

Hi. It depends what country you're in. Some including Scandinavian countries plus UK, allow a single light to be wired in with the high beam.
