This lazer update is amazing! As someone who plays osu on a laptop, lazer's performance wasn't very good up until the update 2 weeks ago (might have been earlier but i noticed it a week or two ago). So i mostly used lazer for background music. With this lazer update, the performance is arguably better than stable for me. Definitely gonna be playing lazer more when im not going for scores. Good job, team.

Hi peppy, I hope you read this. I found what's lagging and freezing on MacOs, whenever I am getting a lot of 300 and suddenly 100-50 or even misses for sliderbreaks or normal misses, I think there's like a little spark whenever a combo break occurred, looked for an option to unable that spark but I didn't find it. Thank you Peppy.

I really appreciate the performance improvements, while still laggier than stable osu, it came a long way. I rarely encounter lags, thanks. Also, great efforts in bringing more features while tackling bugs.

I'm surprised to see the amount of performance updates still happening! For me, laser has been 2000x more consistent in terms of performance, both in average FPS and the amount of stuttering. To be fair, my system is way overkill, but I can't even play stable anymore because it literally crashes every 15-20 minutes and has little fps stutters every 30 seconds, whereas on lazer I have actually never crashed (in probably 30 hours of gameplay over 2 months) and rarely have fps stutters.

thing that might not ever happen but would be really cool if that band hero "drop in" function were available from the title screen to instantly start playing the song as a map from where the song is playing extremely impractical and very useless, definitely a dumb idea but would be neat

i think a lot of people forget that you don't need 1000fps anymore if you want 1000hz input polling with lazer and that they can just choose their monitor fps x 2 as the frame limit and things will feel pretty good

the thing holding me from lazer was whenever i use borderless theres still noticeable input lags in cursor,very different to how borderless in stable,i wonder does the game will eventually has the same performence later on or not oh and not to mention weird screen resolution like 1919x1079(its like that because whenever i do 1920x1080 the screen looks shadowy blurry or seems duplicated 3 pixels diagonally and its not osu screen issue but my own screen issue in my past monitors)

I think there should be an option for the player to choose what sound pack the player would like to use for certain gamemodes, like taiko With the new sounds it doesn't feel like taiko anymore Idk, it feels so soft with the kick and snare, but, I suppose, there's people that like the kick and snare, so it could be good if the player could choose between the taiko original sounds and the new ones

I've been on lazer for a hot minute exclusively now and it's definitely better than stable performance-wise, I went back to stable and it felt like I was playing on a bugged osu client, objects in gameplay definitely don't actually render at your FPS value and it's worse with DT I'm pretty sure. I still think McOsu's DT feels the most fluid strangely enough, not sure if it's placebo with what looks like a gamma increase in that client or it's optimized better than lazer.

I used to have lag spikes and latency in lazer when I tried it back in March. I'm gonna try it out now and see if my old pc can handle it well enough for me to switch to lazer completely. Edit: It still is unplayable to me. I get huge lag spikes very frequently unless I use Vsync, which makes the input lag ubearable. I drop to 20 fps just by moving my cursor in the song select. Guess I'll just have to wait.

Hey Peppy, On the traceable mod the slider background is gone for some reason, and I was just wondering if this was intentional or not because it does feel off from the usual gameplay. It's something I feel like doesn't really make sense to have on traceable since it doesn't have any effect on reading, it just makes the game look weird if your background dim is low.

I like the consideration of touch screen controls for catch, but is there a way to adjust the size of the mania keys on touch controls on android? It's way too small. Also any way to play standard streams on android with touch controls? It seems to do one button register only

Guys is there a place where I can report bugs for lazer bc I cant play lazer without disabling my pen tip otherwise my curser bugs out and it looks like I have 4 fps so its really unplayable.
