I have 2 suggestions: 1-Skin editor improvement: If I want to make an object appear even when I hide interfaces, I currently have to use the playfield, which has different set points and it is very annoying to put it exacty in a corner (if not impossible) I think you should either be able to change the set point or be able to change each object individually (Include in interface or not). 2-Make an option to have reverbed half time just like how we have nightcore for DT I think we should also have reverbed for HF, I never play HF because the audio quality becomes shit, but if you make it reverb that will no longer be the case. Whats keeping you away from lazer: scoring systems not being the same as stable, pretty shrimple really. Will never change (same as many others) until theyre just the same as stable

i hope that they eather let old osu still exist or make lazer lite becouse for now no matter what variant of setting i use the game is unplayeble becouse of lag wich i am aware might be my computer problem

Mania editor still sucks... jk but still I really think we need a bit of development there (I don't like how it defaults to the lanes being so big personally). Anyway this is still insane. Thanks ppy and the team for improving things so rapidly these past few years.

Still really sucks I'm sorry. All the keybinds from old editor need to be transferred over. CTRLSHIFT F/R/S are so integral to my workflow its really horrible in lazer at the moment. There's too much going on in the overlay, it needs to be simpler

The editor updates are a saviour to the lazer editor. Perhabs the most important thing missing is the ability to upload a beatmap. I started doing a beatmap and to post it as a wip, I needed to intentionally install stable just to upload, which is a great downside.

I already use Lazer bc there is no other Linux option. My one frustration is the hashed file system that I can't edit. I want to be able to swap out and even extract the audio from the filesystem, but I can't.

Hi, I don't know if I am too late to comment anything, but anyways... I just recently got back to osu! after years long break and I wanted to completely switch to lazer, I love it. BUT there is few things I would love to see. 1. Beatmap selection I don't personally like how you need to click on a song and then the actual beatmap thats shows up. I would love to be able to have an option to see the rank I have gotten on the beatmap while scrolling thru them and being able to just click once to get to the beatmap of my choosing, just like how stable does it. On stable you can scroll thru your collections and see all the ranks you have gotten on all of the maps that are in there. Other approach: Currently when you are scrolling thru maps, you can see all the difficulties shown as circles and with different colors. What if when player completes difficulty X on that song, it would switch the circle with the ranking they got? I think this would fit lazer's sleek design perfectly. If this happends I am completely fine with the current way of scrolling thru beatmaps. I just want to see the ranks I have gotten without needing to click the beatmap. 2. Skin editor This is probably already in the making? But I would love to see possibility to customize about everything you see on screen, including beatmap selection. Like you could change pretty much all the sprites. This would make it possible to make some really good skins. 3. Font I personally don't like how the score font looks like when looking up for example global scores. This kinda goes back to the skin editor and being able to switch fonts. love the work, keep it up :)

You should add a feature where you can choose a certain skin to be applied to a certain mode, for example. project shikigami for osu mania, and another skin thats not project shikigami, on another mode, so you dont have to repeated keep switching between skins just to play a specific mode.

Can you make the buttons in mobile mania bigger the same way it is in the hatsune miku game 🙏

Lazer mapping.. Using a Large skin like eliminates makes it terrible to map in osu!mania since the editor puts the notes at the centre of the screen for some reason? Being able to move/resize the skins hit position or something While mapping would be very helpfull Not that its that big of an isuue to just use a different skin while mapping, but having to change it back to test maps gets annoying after awhile
