Hey, I love this piece. Thank you. I would not have even known that this was available if it wasn't for this video. Luckily my target is legit! I've been looking for a blaster that meets my standards. I paid $38 (American) and some change out the door which, is totally worth it to me. The reason I like it so much is for the exact opposite reason you list it as a detriment. I truly hated the black paint accents. I'm old...I had the original. I just didn't like it. Yeah, wish the other knob was black, but that is about it. I'm still looking for a new Soundwave that meets my standards. Until then I will rock the Takara Masterpiece Soundwave! I love you videos. Keep up the great work!

plastic quality does play a factor in yellowing but even then it's not normal for it to happen this fast. Is there any humidity or light excess in your room? Or maybe the plastic has gone through temperature stress. My room get's really really cold during winter no matter what i do, and i'm in constant fear any of my figures will get damaged, brittle or yellowed

`Well, I mean, the window on Blaster's chest was an insert so the entire chest wasn't clear plastic. Eject, however, was gang molded in clear with the window. I'm just pissed that we can't seem to get Eject and Rewind released in solid plastic colors in a two pack so we can have some cassette bots for him. Hell, Hasbro will probably just release new tooled SS86 figures of them just to make us buy another thing.

I for one prefer the transparent plastic over the solid look especially when it comes to the card bots. The solid colored windows, especially in that blue make the figures look cheap similar to the oversized figures that Walgreens carries.

Just picked him up with that Target Circle 30% off deal and honestly I think he was worth it for that! Never got the Kingdom version and my Netflix Soundwave hasn't yellowed at all yet *knock on wood*, so they look great together! Definitely wouldn't mind if they gave Soundwave a solid plastic cassette deck and a better Ravage. Laserbeak was fine but I keep Ravage in cassette mode so his transparent deck looks less off 😂

That tab at 9:57 had a problem, at least with mine. The tab was not a perfect rectangle, it had an extra bit of plastic, making it perpendicular so it wouldn't fit into the slot. I had to use my utility knife and cut off the extra bit, then, et voila, it fit.

Yeah i totally purchased this guy even though i had kingdom. Eject i this is better than transparent. He just so clean. I agree with the boombox details were lazy. But when he transformed into the chair to radio prime there wasn't a lot of detail in that scene. I like him. I pre-ordered him from Target for $43 USA Dollars with a $5 USA Dollar store credit. I now find it strange that they painted one dial black and left the other red. I was wondering if the older cassettes would fit him? Would you know the answer?
