LOVE these, please do more! 🖤 I joke that I'm "lazy" but the fact is that there are days now where I *can't* stand for any length of time in the kitchen. If you're physically limited or mentally tapped out, you deserve wonderful, nutritious food too and these are things I can also make a little extra of for the times I just stand in front of the refrigerator and shovel like a gremlin.

really appreciate these kind of videos merle!! honestly as someone with a brain that can have many 'blegh' moments sometimes i really feel like cooking is the last thing i want to do. but us depressed folk deserve nutritious and delicious food too and stuff like this makes achieving this that much easier 💙

I really appreciate that you broke down serving sizes in the description notes. At first, I got a little concerned that I'd need to eat a really high volume of food to get 100 grams of protein but that's not the case at all.

I needed this. I'm not a vegan but I do shoot for 2 plant based meals in a day and I do suffer from chronic pain/fatigue, so lazy is needed

Lol, yes, I love this level of lazy. It's good to have a bunch of things which are pantry-friendly/people dropping-in-unexpecredly, or, you've had a busy day and you have no time to prepare something. Well, that was a bizarre sentence. I'm too lazy to fix it. That pasta is easy enough to toss in some spinach and/or broccoli from your (maybe?) prepped items in the fridge. If I'm not able to get through my prepped broccoli or cauliflower I'll freeze it before it goes to waste. It's a great source of frozen food with little effort. I tend to like all the things I've seen you make, but I am a newbie around here, so I don't think I should be making demands at this stage. To be honest I don't feel like I'm very demanding as a general thing 😂 so, good job is my response ✌🏻

Great video Merle…. Being plant based means tonssssssssss of chopping so to have some lazy meals to have around is key. I was thinking don’t they sell pimentos like bits in the jar that could work as sun for the red peppers and they are already bitty bitty so no choppy choppy . Thanks ❤

That bean salad with artichoke hearts looks delish and super customizable! I'd probably add some hearts of palm in there...maybe some banana peppers, pumpkin seeds, the possibilities are endless! Also, more of these lazy videos please 🤣

Everything you made look so delicious, I used to be a complete vegan, but I went back eating meat and seafood. I do love vegetables and fruits a lot and every week I make sure that there would be days that I would only eat vegan meals!

Oooo as a non vegan that bean pasta sauce looks so yummy gonna pair that up with some lentil pasta for more protein. Also Merle you got me making the TVP bolengse from that vegan babe (except I make the sauce from scratch and use legume pasta) for my whole omni family every week!

Blending up beans into a pasta sauce is just the easiest & nicest way to get more protein without feeling like you are eating tons of BEANS, also great to get kids to eat I think ☺️

Instead of putting white beans and tofu in the smoothie, I think a nice non-powder protein boost would be swapping the peanut butter for PBFit and adding a couple tbsps of hemp seeds

Another way I like to do lazy protein-packed pasta is a chickpea pasta and then add tofu 'ricotta.' So fast and easy!

It's funny to me that some people find chopping 3-4 ingredient "too much" while cooking pasta for example is fine for them buuut I respect this, everyone is different :D Some really delicious recipes in this one, I love how simple yet also nutritious all of these are!

I always see creators saying “I know some of y’all don’t like protein powder” …who? Why? Come forward and help me understand 😂 I don’t get it. Aaaanyway love the meal ideas. I’m a medium-lazy cook lol. I sometimes make my own bases and sauces etc and I love chopping and using all the gadgets - but if it requires a million steps, techniques, or ingredients I don’t normally use or can’t substitute- nope!! That being said knowing how to substitute ingredients or cooking methods is a VERY important vegan hack in my opinion.

The ONLY thing that makes me sad about being a vegan is that I have tried, MERLE, I HAVE TRIED, to like nutritional yeast. It tastes like chemicals to me. If you could do a video on alternatives that add some cheesiness without nooch I would love it!!❤
