you LBCC students are so lucky. All schools should have this kind of course. Just learning how to LEARN. That's something schools take for granted, and think we've done it all after the first grade. Truth is, we need reinforcements as we get older.

I took the same kind of course at my University and I'd say it wasn't anywhere as good as this one or as the other studying courses taught by this instructor. The only course that came close was my Astronomy 10 class taught by Alex Fillipenko (at UC Berkeley, so its videos can be found online). Or it was my Legal Studies 101 class taught by Professor Nonet using the socratic method (although almost all of us failed that class it was so hard).

This saved a lot of stress, thanks. All schools should learn us these methods, because sometimes the last thing we think about at school is learning how to learn basically. For some it is easy, for others, it is not. We all need some tips to improve our grades. :)

I agree with Tammy the computer test only shows you one question at time. Then to top it off, if it is a proctored test OMG you have to engaged the web view cam, if you sneeze funny they know it. However you do have the option to save and come back but not with a proctored test. Before you can save and come back later you have to give a answer, if you save then the answer if committed right or wrong. Whoa is me. So before I take a test I must be the odd ball because I learn this in high school in the 12th grade start studying as early as you can. I remember once I had a History test yuck, throw up time. I studied for that test 2 months in advance. Luckily for me I have good hearing and over heard the teacher say the test she was going to give later on, keep my mouth shut. Every day for 4 hours after school for 2 month. straight I studied my brain darn near out of my head. Then I would get up two hours before i had too and study some more. Okay BIG TEST DAY. Nervous as a naughty girl in church, Shaking like virgin on a 1st date. I made B+ After it was all over with played hooky for a week.

15:10 - Nice re-frame! Thanks. When I have a researcher come into my electronics shop with a "broken" instrument, I always ask, "What's the challenge?" I never suggest that it's a problem; because, I can usually find the solution.

Let me give some of most useful tips to become an A student: It is a SECRET TECHNIQUES only known and applied by genius it is PDCA P-prepare; prepare for your exam D- do , go to exam C-correction or check; after you have your result, go and find any wrong answers you make , make correction ,know the true answer. A-adapt; know how to study and the way you're learning, you may be visual learner or audio learner Repeat the process

One thing I never hear mentioned is about making sure your brain has a good energy supply during the test. For example, if my test was in the morning, I would eat a hearty breakfast high in protein, e.g. bacon, eggs, hash browns, etc. I would also buy a couple of candy bars, one of which I would consume just before the test to boost my sugar levels. This is mostly important for those marathon 3 hour exams. If I found myself flagging at all after an hour and a half or two hours, I'd eat the second candy bar to boost my blood sugar once more. Don't forget that the brain runs on glucose and a full stomach has a calming affect, which reduces test anxiety,. At least it worked for me and it may do so too for you.

This is all good information, but what about the computer tests that only show you one question at a time? Can't really cover the multiple choices that easily, can't really skip around too much. Suggestions? I have a licensure test where that is video taping me and timed which creates a lot of anxiety, when I already have a lot of test anxiety. Do you talk any about test anxiety in any of your online teaching videos?

Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of Sorrows but only empties today of his strength. Anxiety is a thin stream of fear trickling through the mind. If encouraged, it cuts a channel into which all other thoughts are drained. Anxiety is not only a pain which we must ask God to assuage but also a weakness we must ask him to pardon for he's told us to take no care for tomorrow. Anxiety is the interest paid on trouble before it is due. Anxiety is the natural result when our hopes are centered in anything short of God and His will for us. Anxiety Springs from the desire that things should happen as we wish rather than as God wills. Do not look forward to what may happen tomorrow; the same Everlasting father, who cares for you today, will take care of you tomorrow, and every day. Either he will shield you from suffering or he will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Fretfulness Springs from a determination to get my own way. God never built a Christian strong enough to carry today's duties and tomorrow's anxiety piled on top of them. If your heart is troubled, you are not living up to your belief. Lord jesus, Make My Heart sit down. Man's world has become a nervous one, encompassed by anxiety. God's world is other than this; always balanced, calm, and in order. Man, like the bridge, was designed to carry the load of the moment, not the combined weight of a year at once. Oh Lord Jesus Christ, who has told us not to be anxious, we trust ourselves and our loved ones too that loving care, knowing that roundabout and underneath of the Everlasting arms, and praying the to give us now and always let peace which the world cannot give, nor take away, but which comes only from the father and from the, our savior and friend. One cannot remove anxiety by arguing it away. The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith; and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety. There is the danger and the temptation to you of drawing your minds into your business and clogging them with it; so that ye can hardly do anything to the service of god, but there will be crying, my business, my business, and your minds will go into the things and not over the things and then, if the Lord God crosses you, and stops You by

A scantron is a sheet where you fill out your answers, so if a teacher gives you a test and it says choose A,B, or C. You would fill out one of those letters on the scantron. (Sorry I didn't do a very good job explaining it)

SUMMARY • Multiple Choice ○ Cover all choices and ANSWER. § Easy = Answer § Not Sure = Skip § Not There = Skip § Impossible = Trust yourself 🤣 § Why SKIP? □ When you try to remember a name of someone, it becomes hard to remember it, so you think, think, and think. The next days, you suddenly remember and then ka-baam! Now, you remembered why the name suddenly popped off! Just the same thing with answering you let go of them and proceed because our BRAIN is like a COMPUTER, it goes through the files you've stored. So while you are answering other questions then maybe when you comeback to the number you've skipped, you'll be able to remember it. ○ What if "Out of all are chuchu EXCEPT" is what I get? § Then, show 1 choice only, and if you think that's it then answer. If it is not, then take a look at ONE OTHER CHOICE. ○ What if I shaded the wrong number because of skipping I got lost? § Point your finger on the number and then shade.

Oh lord, strengthen and support, we can treat the, all persons unjustly accused or underrated. Comfort them by the ever-present thought that thou knows the whole truth and will, and thine own good time, make their righteousness as clear as the light. Give them Grace to pray for such as do them wrong and hear and bless them and they pray semicolon for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. Amen.
