This is such a simplistic take on Trump voters. There is no evidence that the majority of Trump voters are bigots. Trump voters vote for Trump for a whole myriad of reasons. Some support him because they want lower taxes. You have hispanics who support in part because they or their parents came to the country legally and they do not appreciate that their are undocumented immigrants who've been able to skip all the paperwork and settle in the US illegally. Others support Trump because they want to reduce inflation. Finally many vote for Trump because they feel betrayed by the democrats for being partially responsible for de-industrializing the USA and they vote for Trump not because they like him but they vote for him out of protest.

Especially with the amount of annual deaths they have from fentanyl being smuggled into the country. I would also want to escalate drilling for oil to help with living costs. If I was American I would like manufacturing jobs to be returned to my country instead of being farmed out to China. Bill Clinton's a bit dated now. Most of the electorate was born after he left office, and the only response you are likely to get is, "Who?" It's like referencing the decade Trump spent ripping off poor people of their life savings with his pyramid scheme. It's too long ago; nobody knows about it, and nobody cares.

You're not using Occam's razor. The psychology of the Trump voter is this: We had a better life with Trump as president than we do with Biden. It's as simple as that. I can't stand Trump but the economy and foreign policy were both better during his administration. I'm also terrified something might incapacitate Biden, leaving Kamala Harris President. That's nightmare fuel.

except it wasn't... smarter people than me and you have proved it with tangible numbers... unless you believe the american public voting for him are all millionaires...
@jlpowell518 ай бұрын
@@nilianstroy You can't tell a person their life wasn't better. They experienced it, you didn't. You don't have to be a millionaire for your life to be better. If gas was cheaper under Trump than it was under Biden---and it was---it made a difference. The data on that is out there from many sources I'm sure you'd find reputable. That's just one example. Inflation ring a bell? Interest rates? Availability of goods and services? Now Biden isn't entirely responsible for any of those changes just as Trump wasn't entirely responsible for having better numbers for them. The buck stops at the White House, though.

Better life?
