The intention was to overwhelm the medical systems in the Gaza. But you won't have seen this reported in the usual media outlets, you would have to Google the United Nations human rights abuse and atrocities reports. The IDF have been killing innocent Palestinians in their thousands both in Gaza and the West Bank for decades. Western administrations have always been aware of this but have never been inclined to call it out for what it is. Isreal is "Genuinely Shocked" by the current outrage against them for their "Culling" of what their society considers vermin. Before the usual keyboard warriors begin tapping out their garbage. I have lived and worked in Gaza, my wife is Palestinian as is our adopted orphaned daughter. "I know what I'm talking about"!!!

Just being a nerd, Brian, but Voltaire didn't quite say that. Voltaire said “Certainement qui est en droit de vous rendre absurde, est en droit de vous rendre injuste.” He could have used the word “atrocité” but didn’t. “Atrocities” as a translation probably didn’t start until about 150 years after his original quote. Personally, I prefer “injustices” not only because it is closer to what he actually said, but also because these are more common. 🙂 But that doesn't diminish your point. Just being a nerd... 🙂

On the subject of PA's for years I suffered with a chronic ear infection as a result of a perforated eardrum, after a few years a specialist recommended to remove the infected part of the eardrum. A few weeks after the operation I developed an abscess in my right temporal lobe. I have in later years have had to have subsequent ear operations in both ears. To cut a long story short,there has been a significant loss of hearing and I was instructed by a GP at my practice to go to boots to have my ears syringed. I went to a different pharmacy closer to my home and after hearing about my medical history they called my practice and arranged an appointment to see my GP. This GP prescribed eardrops,which made it worse. The next GP I saw referred me to the ENT clinic. When I explained what the problem was he said I should have been referred to see him at the first opportunity,and it's in my notes that if there are any future recurrences of possible perforations or infection. An easy mistake or ? Did I actually see a GP or an Accociate ?
