One of the first things LBJ did when getting into office was to overturn JFK's phased withdrawal from Vietnam. We should always hold him accountable for his major contribution to further escalating the conflict, and pushing the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution-which is almost unanimously considered a false flag operation. The second attack used to pass the joint resolution never happened. The fact that America has been in several major conflicts since WW2 without a formal declaration of war by Congress is insane in itself.
@kxkxkxkx Жыл бұрын
The generals wanted to fight Communism and we just got our butts kicked (and president shot) over Cuba ☝️ so Vietnam was chosen to attack because they were poor and had the best women and drugs Sad and stupid and completely true 🕊
@BazookaTooth707 Жыл бұрын
@@kxkxkxkx Well, the first major fight against communism in Vietnam began with Operation Masterdom by the British and French in 1945. America found itself in Vietnam in 1945 as well. This was because the French wanted to take back their "colonial possession" of Indochina. Obviously what came during the Geneva Convention was the partition of Vietnam, which came with further repercussions like the spread of communism. Kennedy clearly didn't want combat troops in Vietnam, and was opposed to American intervention altogether. Sadly, it's evident that's not what the powers at be wanted. First off, the intelligence agencies didn't fully inform the Warren Commission about Oswald being a CIA asset, and without a doubt omitted other key pieces of evidence entirely. We must factor in that the intelligence community was also behind the aforementioned false flag operation, which spells out to me that something nefarious was at play. There's a whole lot more to the story. We will never have the complete picture.

@@BazookaTooth707 Lee Oswald was a KGB agent recruited in Japan and trained in Russia and given a KGB wife 🚩anyone who claims Oswald was a CIA asset has either been duped or is actively spreading disinformation (like Mark Lane or Oliver Stone) You are completely wrong about JFK also☝️ he was pushing "military advisors" into Vietnam his entire term, which is why the special warfare school is named after him

Black people kill far, far more whites per year than the entirety of them that were lynched since the 1860s. Just happens to be a fact. Russia doesn't make the same impact in WW2 without the help of financial aid and American imports through the Lend-Lease Act. Over 50% of domestic production went to the USSR during WW2. For example, over 97% of railroad production in wartime Russia was supplied through the Lend-Lease Act. America not only supplied the USSR with weaponry, money, and supplies- but they helped build infrastructure such as factories, industrial plants, shipyards, railways; and so on. America financed the USSR's manufacturing base on top of supplying them with arsenals and resources in order to produce an effective Russian war machine that could supply it's fighting force. Russia and its allies didnt want Russia to suffer the same fate they suffered in WW1, which was their early withdrawal from the conflict mostly attributed to their lack of supplies.

@goaway9977 Жыл бұрын
There's always a bunch of shady shenanigans in every election at every level. Most of the time it's not consequential, sometimes it is. The means to cheat still exist, as does the motive. Just look at the recent recall attempt of LA district attorney George Gascon. Of the 715,000 signatures collected, 195,000 were rejected. That's 27%. Either someone tried to commit massive fraud to recall the DA, or the typical standard for signature matching was ignored to prevent the recall vote from occuring. Compare this to the less than 2% of invalid signatures discovered through signature matching for mail in ballots in the 2020 election. A number far below the more typical 10% of invalid signatures found through these processes. People who believe that cheating elections is a thing of the past are just willfully ignorant at this point.
