I Did it the easiest way possible for me. I dont think it would have taken that long to remove that bracket but i decided to try it without taking it off.

@@Garage_Beers It did fix my code. No way to fit any torque wrench I own down in there. I didn't even look for the value. I just gave it 5 ugga duggas

Do you have relieve any air in the system after removing the fuel lines? What were your symptoms when you got the 0087?

Symptoms were limp mode. You dont need to relieve air in the system, at least i didn't have to.

It did not fix my issue, i believe my Injector pump was the culprit.

Got a crazy question if anyone knows got a 06 lbz duramax got tow tunes but everything else is fractory low power low fuel mileage starts fine drives fine just low power can only make 11 lbs of boost at wot no boast leaks new air filter new fuel filter new fpr does loop a bit at idle when warm only factory cp3 and factory turbo truck does has 841,000 miles on it anyone have any idea what it could be no smoke and no codes

I’m guessing has to be something with fuel pressure even though new FPR ? Maybe pump ? If it ain’t the turbo or ECM . Mine just died on me and it seems to be the FPR codes came on but didn’t catch the exact #

I just got recertified on the the duramax and instructor said the engine is Isuzu which is Japanese and the Bosch fuel system is German they don’t like each Other

The Duramax is not Isuzu. It is designed and manufactured in the USA by Duramax, Ltd. 100% owned and operated by General Motors Corp. Duramax, Ltd was founded in 1999 as a joint venture between GM and Isuzu, GM owning controlling shares of Isuzu back then. GM sold off all interest in Isuzu in 2006. It's the joint venture part that has been misconstrued that the Duramax is a Japanese engine, not that it would have been a bad thing as Isuzu has been making diesel engine for as long as Cummins. Isuzu is pretty much at the top of the diesel world, powering far more vehicles and heavy equipment world wide than any other diesel engine manufacturer.

@@Djtherock70 So you work at a dealership and now you are a so called expert? Go look up what I posted. It's all verifiable information. GM owns AND operates Duramax Ltd. Duramax Ltd. manufactures the Duramax engine, hence it IS a GM engine. The engine blocks were even cast in Moraine Ohio till around 2017 when GM outsourced the blocks from Germany. I guess you probably think it's a German engine now too. This isn't rocket science sweetie.
