The iron sight change for the FARA was a bigger buff for it than the (not) recoil buff. No need to waste a slot on a sight when you need quite a few to keep that thing in the fight.

At this point, I’m not sure anything they can do will bring me back to Cold War. I don’t know what happened in Season 3, but once that dropped, my performance and enjoyment of the game both tanked. It was bad enough to push me back to Warzone, which was bad enough to push me back to Words With Friends.

Ace you missed some big highlights with the Groza. The KGB Pad is now the best Stock in the game for any gun giving +50 sprint to fire time and +40 ADS walking speed AND only a 20% hip fire penalty. Also the Spetsnaz Field Grip is the best Handle in the game in terms of ADS time having a +30 ADS time and only a 12% sprint to fire penalty. Making it only of the snappiest ARs in MP

I kinda like how Treyarch buffed many of the ARs except the Krig and the AK-47, but with the C58’s buff to its recoil, shooting visibility, damage range, and the range reduction with the basic suppressor, it’s still a useless gun because of its pathetic sprintout time and TTK potential in Cold War.

Why? 90% of people play with an AR, so clearly they didn't need a buff. AR should be best at med range. They don't need to have a better time to kill at short range, or what is the point of an SMG.

Don't get why the QBZ and C58 got buffs to their recoil because they were both easy to control. Visual recoil maybe on the C58 but idk how you do that when the XM4 makes me feel like I should be taking damage because my character is getting wrecked by the recoil. All in all, underwhelming but I think we're all accustomed to that at this point.

The C58 now have a negative recoil, i don't even know it's better or not LMAO The FFAR looks amazing now with that new damage profile, especially stacking recoil attachments (field agent grip + infantry compensator)

I wish they would buff/reduce the FFAR's initial recoil. I will admit that I suck at recoil control on console, so it's partly my fault, but you have to admit the recoil is kinda ridiculous for a 5.56 caliber rifle. I mostly want it reduced so I can use other grips besides the Field Agent grip lol.

While it's good they're making balance changes this late in the games lifecycle, a lot of their fundamental game design is flawed. SBMM, support streak system, screen shake, flinch, perk balance, health bars, B04 engine, inconsistent smoke, point and click specialist scorestreaks, melee hit detection, napalm hitboxes....etc.
