LCFD/ A collage of different PIV measurements in models of heart cavities.

Here we are assembling different particle image velocimetry measurements performed in a left ventricle left atrium and aorta.
Note the presence of a prosthetic bileaflet mechanical heart valve in the aortic position. They are used to replace diseased native valves.
