When I make one of those rare videos I get tons of comments from people going "You are ALWAYS so negative, this is why no one likes you" even tho I am reporting on a fact about someone else's horrible behavior that needs to be exposed. Those commenters almost always display hypocrisy in their comment by ignoring the negative behavior I'm calling out of the person they like then lying about how I'm only about negativity. Even though Faker's level is far from his peak, if this split where he's had a resurgence, even with lots of shakiness on his org ( players and coach swapping, terrible drafts , poor level of all the player except Keria) where he is putting good numbers in and out of lane and even being close to the top standings in the MVP race and with Rookie having arguably his worst split ever, I find quite surprising that you can make it so obvious one is currently better than the other, even more if that one is supposed to be Rookie...

The discussion about the Infinite Monkey Theorem and DL not knowing about it was very interesting. People not knowing about that sort of thing really just comes down to education, and the family you were born into. My parents would tell me about things like the Monkey theorem when I was really young, so I just happened to get exposure to that sort of thing, which helped develop a lifelong habit of learning. Not everyone has that same experience. I think it would be generally helpful if you guys did explain some of your references a bit more, that said, you both already do a great job of that, this show is insanely educational on all kinds of topics and you both love to flex your knowledge in general. TL;DR your show inherently appeals to a more generally educated crowd, but you still appeal to the plebs and teach them.
@PlastikGUbilationz3 жыл бұрын
That's cool that your parents did that for you. For me idk I guess I just got lucky that the type of people and content I listened closely to (that were not my parents) did give good basic explanations for these kinds of things. And if I'm curious enough I will always look at Wikipedia.

@@Fortune02 Compared to the average player. Faker has carried T1 in multiple series this split, has mostly strong stats, even based on eye test most analysts will tell you that his level of play this summer has been the best in a few splits. Overall it would be fair to describe him as a roughly 3rd-4th best mid in the league and ~8-12th best player (mid is stacked in LCK as always). Now obviously he's not playing at his prime level, but that's completely besides the point.
