LD Bell Marching Band 1982 Halftime Show

I graduated 2 years before this in 1980. What a treat to find this online. I miss the drum cadences at the games.

Wow, I had never seen a video of us marching, I was in the Bell marching band and this might have been the last performance the Class Of 82 did, thanks for posting By the way it Hurst, TX not Bedford.

mr winslow's marching bands ALWAYS sounded amazing! Just like his conducting on stage , the music came first .amen and hail to roger winslow!

I didn't know high school marching band shows were this complex yet but it's still very simple compared to most shows nowadays. Btw I love the music!

I miss the big, full, brass sound of these years. There is deference 'now' to woodwinds for reasons I can't fathom.

I think they only really started marching corps around this time...before this, i've seen video where they were strict military marching.

I was in this band 1975-1978. My first year we were pretty military but they started having us do circles and more showy stuff in my second and third year.

This performance was not as good as our competition performance but at least we sounded good. I think i remember getting the lecture about back sliding with our lines and obliques.. Cover Down Y'all
