My ITB 2.0 16v Mk2 GTI is done | POV drive (Insane intake noise)

In this video we go check out Matthew's 16v Mk1 on the dyno followed by checking out my 16v on the dyno again... We made some adjustments and it ended up changing things. We go to the dyno for a sanity check and end up losing our sanity there. 😂
I finally get to take the car home and have my first proper drive in it. I am in love. A huge thank you to RR Performance mods & JVS tuning for getting me sorted.

It's definitely not slow, once it's moving in 3rd and 4th it's really not bad. But we always want more. 😅 And I hear you about those E92 downshifts. BMW guys are going to be beating their chest about this comment. 😂 Lastly, Jody is really impressive. The way he can just hear that it's not right is mind blowing to me. Because what I was hearing and what he heard was totally different. lol. He knows 16v's really well.

Nothing like building a car and falling in love with your work. I'm personally not a fan ouf the ITB induction noise under low load. But at wot they are just out of this world. Now you got best of both worlds. And you've surpassed the stock power of the motor. An old motor at that.

That ITB racket at low rpm is a bit much, I agree. At WOT it makes up for it. And yes, it makes more power than a ABF which is good because this setup cost me a little more than buying a import motor so that's a win in my book.

Your torque is very low. It should be about 230 nm. You lost power because of the throttle bodies. You won't get your air speed right on lower rpm. Also your runners should be at least 200 mm long and 500 cc per runner. And there is no space for that. And you will keep losing power more and more with the throttle bodies as you have no air filter to keep the air clean...
