A montage of ELDERS returning home from their 2-year missions, in honor of my five sons who have all served missions. The song is called "Coming Home", sung by Tim Gates, from the album "Trek: A Nashville Tribute to the Pioneers". You can visit the Nashville Tribute Band's website at www.nashvilletributeband.com

I've just barely started looking into the LDS church, and on a completely unrelated search I stumbled upon this-- not only did I cry my eyes out, but I have a much stronger conviction this church really is true! Thank you!

Wow, this brings back a lot of memories. It has been over 30 years now since I returned from my mission. Words cannot express how thankful I am that I made that choice to spend two years testifying of Jesus Christ and His atonement. I still remember the excitement I had shearing my testimony. You will never forget or regret being in the Service of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He will repay beyond your wildest dreams. God Bless

I am not of your faith but over the years I have had your sons and daughters in my home. Sister missionaries have visited here on a regular basis this year. To the Mothers that have children on missions, I want you to know how I love them! They stay for a few weeks then are assigned another area to go good byes are very difficult. :( I can't even describe how much I miss them. I cried watching this.

Besides these wonderful homecomings, what I see is love. And love is the most important of all. When young LDS men knock on our door, they are well received and treated with kindness. Our beliefs may differ but what is the same is we all are children of God and that we love God and each other.

Even though your sons are young now, the time goes by really fast. I have 5 sons, and I'm on my third missionary already. I still feel like they're all little! But I'm so proud of them, and proud that they are willing to unselfishly serve the Lord. Love them and teach them while you can. Don't miss a moment. Soon they will be leaving with their suitcases, waving goodbye, and you just hope that you've taught them everything you wanted to. God Bless You in your efforts!!

Awesome video. I'm a young women with only 16 yrs, my wish since I was 6 its to go to a mission & now I can go sooner at 19. While I was watching this my tears came out just thinking of how beautiful the God's plan is. I thought of my future husband, how proud my Lord is gonna be if I marry an Ex-Missionary. I love God, I believe in Him, I know & feel He is our Savor & I'm really sure that if we follow His commandments we'll get to be with Him again. Greetings from Dominican Republic

I really love this song. It reminds me of my mission. I missed being a missionary. Said goodbye to my mom, my dad, other family members and friends, Served 18 months with all my heart with no regrets but after my mission my mom wasn't there to welcome me. She passed away before I finish my mission but I know He knows best and it's all worth. 😊💕

As a former member I can tell you its a experience that not many can say they actually have done. Some members are not as fortunate as others to go on a mission. I had to save up and pay for my mission, so I started late. The mission will help you grow as a person and hopefully strengthen your beliefs in the faith. The underlining story is the absolute joy you receive when you come home. Mothers are the best. They never stop loving and thinking about you while your away.

Dropped off my son at the MTC on December 4th, 2013, his sister's birthday, and felt like I left a big part of my heart behind when we left for TC, Az. Icy road distraction made heading home easier, but emotions were hard to handle when my three year old grandson asked if we could "now" go pick up his uncle from church.First son , grandson, and nephew to go on a mission, what an inspiration for his cousin of age 6 who said he wants to go on his mission. I loved and cried as I watched video the first time, and looking forward to my son's homecoming. Thank you for sharing.

It is a love of the Savior that these young men and women serve their Father in Heaven to spread his restored Gospel throughout the world. The Savior gave of his time and his life to give all of us the chance to be able to return home to him someday. 2 years is only a moment compared to the eternal blessings one will receive while serving a mission. This is not a religion that asks it's young men and women to serve missions, but the Lord himself.

I served in the California Roseville Mission and it was the best experience of my life! Yes it was hard to leave my family but it helped me feel closer to the Savior. He laid his life down for us and leaving to serve the Lord and His children, was like laying down mine. I saw miracles everyday and grew to love something more than myself. The training a missionary goes through in 18-24 months of service is equal to 8 years of school. My family was blessed while I was gone and I would do it again!
