As soon as the announce Missouri everyone’s ears pick up. I think they do it on purpose. Springfield is quite far from Jackson County. The Kansas City temple is quite close to Jackson county though. I don’t think they will ever announce a Jackson county one. They know that announcing it would be the starting gun for a rush to the east and massive expectations of the second coming that will never come.

Dear PD, I'm a big fan of the Britvengers but I recently watched one of your panels and I was shocked when you said that during Nazi rule the Jews were persecuted and killed because of their religion. This isn't true, of course. It was because of the Jewish "race" (Nazi wording, not mine). It was all about the German master race and the "minor races". It didn't matter if Jews converted to Christianity because according to Nazi ideology their "blood" supposedly wasn't "arian". No offence intended but this is something I thought would be common historical knowledge in the UK.

Hi Sabine Thanks for the comment. Totally agree that the comment was reductive of the reasons for the Holocaust. We even commented after the show about how did we get there. It wasn't something we'd planned on taking about as it is a very complex issue. From a high level point of view I would agree that it was more of a race issue rather than a current religion issue. But I would also suggest that the religion played a large part in the culture of the Jewish populous as a whole. As for the UK schooling system, it’s naff as we have clearly demonstrated 😂. Don’t tell Peter or Julian I said that, they are teachers. Thanks for the comment. It’s always nice to have a good chat. 👍🏻

@@PriesthoodDispatches Thanks for your kind reply 😊🤝 I'd like to add that from what I know especially most of the German jews didn't even identify as being religious. Also liberal Judaism has its origin in Germany. It was rather the Eastern European Jews being very religious in an orthodox way. Anyway, the Nazis didn't care about any of that. I like the Britvengers because of your diverse discussions. Everyone brings their very own point of view to the table. You're all so different and I love it! ♥

Dont forget that they will tear down the Stockholm temple and build a new one, looking the same but with a basement. Copenhagen will take more people then for some years. Helsinki too.
