Thank you for freeing the first bird. It's very sad about the second one. :'(

Pierre-Emmanuel Zufferey, another one of your fine productions and this one showing the living ones and not the life like moving rocks of your more frequent (and excellent) debris flow videos. For technique there, maybe cut a swath of net containing the animal and moving to an area away from the remaining netting so once the wee one is partially freed it doesn't re-entangle itself again elsewhere (01:27) as you proceed to free it more and more. Though put a rock or foot on your section so it doesn't escape still tangled wearing some. Of course if you carried all the tools necessary to do this perfectly and every other contingency you wouldn't be able to move. The noises of seeming impatience and alarm they make (00:31 peace / 00:33 cacophpny / 01:21 "shhh") are always more than painful to me (my soul) when I have done this. Great job. What was that netting actually put there for?, I would have gathered it all up, bagged it tightly in a plastic bag with a note saying "bird almost died" and hang it there until I walked by next and then took it to my garbage.

Its to avoid birds from eating grapes. Very common here.....As it is not my propriety, I can'nt gather it all up and bag it in a plastic bag. I wrote to the autorities and to organism of protecting birds, but it will not change. I would never drink wine from that winemaker. It is every year the some, and I'm always afraid when grapes beginn to ripe.

Cover the animal's head with a soft cloth ,a bath towel, then remove the net. Prevent further entanglement or injury.

Its really sad how much life has to die for the convenience and selfishness of human beings.

plastic nets are horrid. "wildlife aid" uploads a lot of videos where foxes or other animals are entangled in uk. "megabattie" uploads a lot of rescue videos about fruitbats in australia. and of course there are the countless sad stories about entangled whales or seaturtles... thank you. good job.
