LMU has the best physics hands down. I tested vr on the rift s and it works great before the official release. As soon as gt3s launch I’m ditching acc for good and going lmu all the way. Haven’t tried ams2 yet but will give it a try for the tracks.

It does. But it also has the WORST & MOST toxic community of intentional crashers, I have experienced in ANY of the sim racers I have played ( ACC Iracing included ) The issue is its such a small community, Full of a lot of rotten apples so you see it A LOT.

I’d be interested to hear what you think about AMS2, now it’s had its v1.6 update. I too think I’ll spend even more time in LMU, making it very unlikely I have much time for ACC too.

personally, I really like your analysis, opinions and findings. This is the part which brings me back to your channel. Watching the racing footage is less interesting to me personally (and it is not only related to your channel but same for Will from Boosted Media, Mike from simracing604 or other simracing youtubers).

Great video Mate! I’m one of those moved from ACC, and looking forward to try out GT3’s, even if I’ve fell in love with the hypercars so gonna focus on that :)

Having done AMS2 multi class racing all weekend with the new IMSA content, I'm looking forward to having proper WEC class racing and better server performance. Four of us, all Canadians, were all in the same AMS2 server and our ping rates were almost at 400ms and that was the lowest I seen of all the racers. We all use RF2 for different leagues and our pings are 60-100ms for European hosted severs. So I'm hoping we steal some AMS2 players over to Le Mans Ultimate and get private hosted servers with driver swaps as that's something missing in AMS2 as well

I didn’t even consider stealing away AMS2 racers - that’s a really good shout. Even if it’s just a case of attracting, not stealing - so you can do the whole IMSA/WEC season. How did the IMSA racing go over the weekend, other than the ping? I’m yet to try out the new V1.6, I’m hoping to turn some laps this evening.

​@MAWvR3ALITY the racing was good, full grids of course while it's new, but a lot of net code/warping issues due to the ping. Didn't have any of the LFM servers get hung up on a session and not move to the next, but a few open lobbies had that problem so I stayed with LFM. Looking forward to longer races that LMU will eventually bring with their driver swaps. Don't know if AMS2 is going to bring that function in or not, do you know?

@@colinsanders8550 full grids sounds nice, let’s hope it lasts longer than a honeymoon period. Glad you at least got in a good weekend of racing though. I’m not sure about AMS2 driver swaps, I’ll have to go and dig around the internet 🤔.

Man the way the cars carry speed through corners looks so natural compared to the sliding around that we have with AMS2. I'm hoping for the official VR release with some improvements with the next update. Nice driving btw

Thank you. You’re right, Official VR Support would be a really nice surprise and delight. I’ve procrastinated on trying the v1.6 update (AMS2). I want to see if the physics update is as good as they say, but didn’t want to ruin my muscle memory ahead of the LMU Weekly Races 😏
