I ordered this seat but didn’t realize that I purchased the “up front edition” that puts the rider 2” up closer on tank and to handlebars 😬. I haven’t rode on it yet. I love the look so far but Geesh. Is this one either the “up front” or “Daddy Long Leg?” I should have not rushed to order. After having now for a while how is the comfort long distance? Do you think you will need a seat pad long distance? How’s the break in going?

@@ChrisGlides I bought the standard version, seems like now they have +2” and minus 2” as well. Seat broke in great im still happy with it for long days. But ultimately I will say if I’m two up on a long trip, which I usually am, I switch back to my stock ultra seat for my wife’s sake. Thanks for watching

It's a attractive seat.... but the saddlemen seat is the seat for me.... it's like driving my leather recliner down the road. Lol

Nice bike I have a 2020 low rider s I bought a saddleman 2 up gripper seat wife hates it what would be a good seat for her to go on long rides I heard the sundowner

Anything that has a decent surface area probably. Problem with all these step up seats is they’re so skinny for the passenger

Was looking to get a drag specialties predator seat, but after seeing your seat I’m pretty torn now. How do you like the seat ? You have any pics of your bike with it on? In the video didn’t really get the whole bike in the frame .

Thanks for watching, she’ll deal with it for the day trips, up to an hour straight or so, any trips I just deal with the stock seat .

The 12.5 is for Dyna & smaller bikes. The larger width is for Touring models.

That depends on what seat , it is lower than the stock touring seat on the ultras / limited , but about the same height as the standard seat. It is narrower though.

According to Le Pera the seat is 11.5” wide and not 14 wonder if they changed the seat…

No I misspoke here , I believe it’s 12.5” . Either way love the seat

How stiff does the seat feel compared to what you had previously? I'm interested in the seat, but I'm worried it'll be less comfortable than my HD low profile solo seat.

It is firmer than a stock touring seat , but not hard as rock like the saddlemen I had briefly. I find it very comfortable overall as a rider , but I do still use my touring seat for the wife on the long haul rides .
