that meeting thing over “self-management” was hard to watch but so proud of sakura for voicing out her opinion, also chaewon and yunjin for supporting her. the company didn’t need to micromanage them over these things… EDIT: the editing and translations made it more vague, but i’ll just take it that sakura was upset over the company talking about meal plans/diet cuz she said “we’ve been working so hard, i don’t want us to have stress with something like this”. this could have meant they are already practicing hard, and needs to focus on “delivering results”, so that self management thing (a.k.a diet) that male staff said should be the least of their concerns.

I think that was sakura was pointing out: no need to impose some meal plan for all to follow, they know when they gain or not, she just reminded her members of their responsibility. knowing sakura, she wouldn’t throw her members under the bus. she is upset at the stress this might cause to some members that’s why she said her piece
@ashonline772 жыл бұрын
i think there is some misunderstanding. They were basically trying to introduce a meal plan to keep them on a healthy diet not because they are actually gaining weight atm but rather to have a healthy diet for staying fit because no matter what you think about weight, as a performer who needs to dance and sing at the same time, its super important to be on your best shape. its important for anyone who needs to maintain their body like athletes for example. yes they shouldn't force idols to not eat properly because they are gaining weight like some companies do, THAT is inhumane. but making a healthy meal plan for the members to stay healthy isn't a disturbing thing or anything like people seem to think. literally everyone who needs to maintain their body does the same. Sakura was upset because she doesn't wanna follow any certain meal plans to add to the stress and rather wants members to actively know when they are eating too unhealthy to switch to healthy food again and maintain fitness.
@fw73532 жыл бұрын
Kkura said members struggled (self managing) and were critized. It was clear that she was talking about others who seemed not self-manage well. Chaewon also supported different diet plans. She's an absolute softie but a very caring and thoughtful person. Her care for Eunchae reflects that she knows about the struggle a newbie goes through and is willing to help her without making her ask for it. As an Asian I am proud for Yunjin if she felt she couldn't go on US television she made it to Korea, welcome back to roots Yunjin.

When Yujin said in 12:18 "If I'm Asian, does that mean I can't be on TV in Ameica? I thought about that a lot because there wasn't anyone like me on TV. That hurt me a lot and I thought, why was I born this way? Do I have to give up my dream because of this?" This truly made me cry. Growing up, I only saw girls or women who fit the Western standards aka white and blonde with eurocentric features. I barely saw any representation for Asians especially East Asians. I hated the way I looked. I hated my nationality and ethnicity for not being American. I hated my culture and was ashamed of it. Now that I'm older, I'm able to appreciate and love who I am. However, it took a long, longggg time to get here. I relate with Yunjin's struggles. We need more BIPOC representation on TV. Representation matters. Thank you Yunjin for being such an inspiration. Thank you for not giving up on your dreams and showing us that regardless of who you are and where you come from, you can achieve your dreams. Soar high, Yunjin! Feartnot will always support you and the girls. We love you 💗

I’m so happy that Sakura was able to help her and her members by speaking her mind. It’s horrible how they force diet plans on such young women who already have so much to prepare for. I hope they’re all eating well

Eunchae is BRAVE for debuting so young next to Sakura/Chaewon/Yunjin who have so much experience... I can only applaud Eunchae for her mindset of "I don't wanna be looked at as the inexperienced one"! I thought when OT5 Fearless stages came out she absolutely proved her worth to the group!

I wasn’t so deep in this rabbit hole not until I came across a video of Yunjin singing. She is one of a kind in this industry who’s genuine and raw, unapologetic yet grounded, and takes every opportunity to live up to her potentials. Yunjin, your voice is heavenly, your beauty is out of this world, but your personality won my heart. I love you, Jen 🫶🏼

Eunchae is really so amazing, at such young age, she's so determined. It would be easy to get easily frustrated and compare yourself to others in the group, but she focused on her skills and how to show them best. Our little smile potato

When Yunjin is talking to her mom, you can see just how exhausted she is. At some point, she’s too tired to speak Korean anymore more. I speak my native language all day everyday, far more than I speak English. But there comes a point of exhaustion where I can’t speak anything but English anymore. That’s real fatigue
