the full version was the first version she recorded. Then Disney ppl thought that the song was too long and doesnt push the movie forward so they decided to cut it into what we've heard in the original movie. She went back and recorded the shorter version. Thats what I remember her explainantion was. Lea even said she was heartbroken after learning they had to cut it.
